Come along for a tour of our Runaway Rangerunner Mini Camper! In this video we go over our full build and modifications. We have had 3 floorplans in a one year period of time. Stay till the end to see photos of all three floorplans and bed sizes we have had. Runaway Ragnerunners are 6 foot x 8 foot fiberglass, squaredrop campers that are an empty shell when you purchase and then you build it out to suit your individual needs. We are hoping this video will give you ideas as to what floorplan will work for you. No matter what design you go with, it will let you run away and see more!

On your next video could you show, you laying down on your bed; and him laying down on his bed to see how the two of you fit. My boyfriend's really tall and I could probably fit where you sleep. The way it's set up it looks so much more spacious

Very nicely done! I like the use of the baskets and rods to hold them in place. Very pleasing to the eye AND provides organized storage. I'm in the process of designing a trailer layout. After watching this, I believe I will incorporate using rods. No cotter pin for me though, it would be lost in 10 seconds flat! Rare earth magnets sunk into the rod and cabinet are the ticket. They are available in many sizes and strong as heck, should work great. Again, nicely done,,,thanks for sharing.

Linda, Flooring is Sorbus Wood Grain Floor Mats Foam Interlocking Mats. The mattresses are Pure Green Natural Latex Toppers. I ordered a 1 soft, 1 medium and 1 firm. I cut them to fit the size of our beds. Then I ordered a zippered fitted sheet to place them in. I ordered everything off of Amazon. Once we get enough subscribers, it will let us have a store front where we can list all of the items we use. Convenient for our subscribers and Good thing is it will not cost you any more to purchase through there. 😊

I have never used Epidemic Sound but I know several people who have. I may use it in the future. I use a free editing program for now but may upgrade in the future.

We just rearranged our runaway like this and it is the best arrangement ive seen. Thanks for the idea! 🙌 the coconut core is a great idea too. Does it shread and make a mess? We have a 10 in matress and we arent building a frame, we just want something under for air circulation.

Thanks for the positive feedback. I used peel and stick wallpaper on the inside of all three doors and also on the front wall. On the back door, I applied a peel and stick vinyl saying that I liked on top of the peel and stick wallpaper. Hope this helps! Happy Camping!🌸

Thanks for the compliment. Your comments and interest in our design means a lot. Yes. We built the bed frames ourselves out of 2x4’s. Then we put down wooden slats for support. Next was the 1” Coconut Coir Mattress pad that was used on the very bottom against the wooden slats. Then: 2” Pure Green Natural Latex Toppers I ordered 1 soft, 1 medium and 1 firm. I cut them to fit the size of our beds. Then, I ordered a zippered fitted sheet to place them in. I ordered everything off of Amazon. Once we get enough subscribers, it will let us have a store front where we can list all of the items we use. Convenient for our subscribers and Good thing is it will not cost you any more to purchase through there.

As for the flooring, it is Sorbus Interlocking Foam Mats (The Sorbus Store) For the Mattress: 2” Pure Green Natural Latex Toppers I ordered 1 soft, 1 medium and 1 firm. I cut them to fit the size of our beds. Then, I ordered a zippered fitted sheet to place them in. I ordered everything off of Amazon. Once we get enough subscribers, it will let us have a store front where we can list all of the items we use. This is the best layout I've seen. No climbing over someone during the night to use the bucket. What does the hubby lean against when watching TV? I would think the shelf along the front gets in the way....

Rhonda, Walls are original. I put contact paper on the wall behind the shelves and on the doors. The beds were screwed and glued together but not drilled into the camper. I may do another video on some of the items you mentioned along with some others I forgot. Keep watching and please subscribe!

Nice layout ( I know, others have already said that). I was wondering about your power set up . Are you always connected to shore power ? ac, a coffee maker etc. seems like a sizable load . I’m setting up my new Hiker trailer so I’m soaking up information. Nice video.

We are currently at 1,380 total pounds fully loaded including the awning. The camper comes as an empty shell and you build it out to fulfill your needs. They do have a smaller version called a Cool Camp that may be more appropriate for your car. Hope this helps. Happy Camping!🌸

I probably will buy the stand up version of this trailer. Im just wondering if the AC unit is smart or should i use a portable AC. I would not like the AC blowing on my head all night. The sideways bed will never work. They dont make the trailer wide enough. two lenth beds will be a must with an isle to walk in to get out of the trailer. I know people will want to keep their trailer in a garage. I guess i wil buld a pole barn. 73

Thanks for watching. I’m not sure if you have the option to place the air conditioner in a different location but you could contact the manufacturer and ask them. Our air conditioner has two directional vents so I direct mine towards the wall. You may be able to buy a diverter like what you place on a house register to keep it from blowing directly on you. Thanks for watching. We actually have a small heater that I put on a thermostat for the cooler nights. Then for the summer I plug the air conditioner into the same thermostat so it cycles and it doesn’t freeze us out. 🤣 Happy Camping! Ben, Tiffany & Gracie 🌸

The one bed that goes the length of the camper is 8 foot and the one that goes the width is 6 foot. Then, I ordered a zippered fitted sheet to place the mattresses in. Yes we installed ARB awning to the roof rack by Runaway. We purchased LicBund 813402 50 mm awning bracket from Amazon. Then we used U bolts and nuts. Hope this information helps ya.
