Small gap in video....SORRY please wait through it
improved method to secure the run flat tires to the hand truck axle is discussed. Saving 10 5/8 inch washers and only using two hose clamps is a great improvement. These runflat tires have bearings that allow for easy movement and make the hand truck much more user-friendly and worry free.

I would have drilled another hole in the axle closer to the wheel and put the cotter pin thru that

Hello animal79thecat That is a good idea that you mentioned, and I did consider it. However, I was unable to drill the hole with the drill press and felt that doing it by hand. I would probably have some wobble and likely would break a drillbit. Good idea however but the hose clamp is so simple. Consider subscribing. Thanks - Joe.

What is the details on the replacement tires? Where did you buy them, and how much were they? I have the same Harper Model: 27T84 hand truck with pneumatic tires and one is flat. Harper sells Model: WH 83 solid tires but they are expensive.

John , you are correct. I really didn’t put all those details in and I should have. I purchased these runflat tires at Harbor freight tools in the US. They are inexpensive and I will try to put a link in the description later today. Consider subscribing. Thanks. Joe, I will tell you that moving a heavy load with pneumatic tires properly inflated certainly feels better than these hard rubber ones but you’ll never have a flat tire.

I now have two options listed. The Verpr is less expensive and I think will work very well. Check out the comment section you can click on it and go right to Amazon to buy. Thanks.
