I'm not sure which that might be honestly haha. But, it is some papri chat, vegetable samosa, garlic naan, gobi manchurian, and I think that's all that was left over here.

Chris, did you know that our liver can store just 100 gr of carbs and the rest is going to be stored as fat? Those 100 gr will be consumed in about 2 hours during a race. So, carb loading is just an illusion 😂. As you said, eating normally and adapting your guts to use gels during a race is the way to go, IMHO. Hydration is key, but the same applies when it comes to hydrating more than your body needs. Any excess will be released taking your electrolytes away. Thanks for sharing your routine, and good luck on your next event!

Yes, that’s why a big binge the day before doesn’t help haha. I just try to keep the carb fuel tank topped up all week, and your body learns to fuel off fat from the long runs as well as getting those gels in mid race. It’s a whole balance, but one we naturally are prepared for during training. That’s why I like to go with no stress, do what we do, make sure to have some carbs here and there, and have fun!
