Running a 100km ultra marathon in UAE mountains with diabetes
This is the video diary of me running a 100km ultra marathon in the UAE mountains, and as you all know, I have diabetes which adds an extra layer of complexity to the challenge.
Those of you who see my channel regularly will know that I have been planning to run 100km since my home Ironman during the Covid lockdown of 2020.... doing a 100km ultra I guessed would take me about the same time as a full ironman. I might have selected a route which wasn't as quick in reality as it was in my head and so this ultra took me 18:56.
