@@JigaTechI tried the same iso and didn’t skip it, it worked…. The reason it didn’t work is because you skipped Grub, grub is the bootloader…. You installed the os without a bootloader……….
Here is an advice from an Linux user: If you use UNIX (especially if you're new), you have to choose wisely (also know what your doing) before taking whatever action. Unlike Windows, UNIX does it right and sometimes cannot be undone.
That shot with throwing the disc at the wall and shattering it worked so perfectly. XD Normally I hate when tech is destroyed for no reason, but this is an exception.
If you want to shut it down properly, just tap the power button on your case and it should bring up the power menu, provided Android is running in ACPI aware mode (it'll just shut down if it isn't).
What if I want to emulate Android apps based on older versions before they were ruined by monetization and cursed ads, or have the newer versions with them removed? Is it actually possible and has anyone been working on making that happen?
Should have run one of the modern releases. They are capable of supporting both AMD and Intel processors and work on a vast range of old and new hardware
iPhone operating system aka iOS, but it's probably not going to work anyways if it did exist for PC since it's closed source and Apple is tight lipped when it comes to x86-64 outside of their own macOS systems. @@siz1700
IOS is Wii's operating system so just use dolphin for that. for iOS there is qemu-ios that virtualizes either a first or second gen ipod touch and there is also touch-hle. but you can't install either IOS or iOS to a regular pc as they are not operating systems that support the x86 architecture of most pcs.
Android OS for pc is great when you have touch screen laptop I installed android on my old intel pentium laptop but I installed prime os with android 11 it is easier to use the os because I have touch screen lucky having a old laptop I never put os on my new one obviously
I wonder why Android's installation even has the option to skip GRUB installation. I wonder if that was added so people could use a different boot loader like what phones/tablets have or efistub.
Even if you did manage to find a game that would run on android 1.5 it would have to be compiled for x86 and i doubt there are any(there are very few apps that have a x86 version tho)
Yes that's true, since Android is based on Unix. I don't even know why FAT32 and NTFS are even available options. It most likely won't be able to boot from them even with GRUB installed.
@@astram00nlightLast time I used Android x86, it did work with NTFS (I even had it installed on the same partition as Windows). However, userdata was stored in an image file with a size limit (set during installation) instead of being stored directly on the file system. I'm not sure about FAT32, but assuming that the Linux kernel natively supports it since a long time ago, Android x86 should theoretically run on it without any problems as well.
@@ShadowGD_OfficialYT Yeah, VMS are better, but older OS'SES are running great in emulators, new OS in Emulators are trash, you've have to get optimization tools.
@@provaogiocaregiochi8245 Seriously? Android is not GNU/Linux. Not part of the community. Android can quite rightly be called an independent ECOSYSTEM with its own applications, although it is based on the Linux kernel. Do I need to explain this to every idiot I meet? In short: Android is not Linux. The word "Linux" does not just mean this fucking kernel. This is a whole community of which android is not a part.

The error is because you skipped the bootloader installation in the android installer Do you want to install boot loader GRUB? "Sure"[proceeds to press enter on skip selected] Do you want to install boot loader GRUB2? "Sure"[proceeds to press enter on skip selected] "WHY ISN'T THIS WORKING"
i love how in the first install you skipped grub which honestly the worst bootloader imo but at the sametime it makes it funny, i also never even knew there was a android based pc os then again android is just linux, so i shouldnt be surprised.
