Thank you James, I really apreciate your analysis! Nice to hear that my technique is mostly ok. :) As for the shoes - yes, my feet are somewhat wide and when I was visiting a sports shop last September, I was given two different models of Brooks and tried them on treadmill, they felt like somewhat tight in sides. As a next offer was this Hoka Arahi 6 wide and it immediately felt good on my feet so I bought them. And have done 3 half marathons and countless training runs on them and they feel great, for me. As for the run, I think James didn't mention it (or I missed), it was a threshold run, in my case it was 5 min / km, so , faster than usual base runs.

I think your pace in this video is about 6’30”/Km

@@davidfurlan2354 No. I just found that very workout and have to correct myself - it was Tempo run, 4 intervals 5 minutes at 5:15/min each and all the filming was done during those. I was pretty much keeping to that pace, actually at some moment I can be seen checking the pace on the watch.

I bet that stride looks even better with a bit more pace. It is interesting that his planted feet point out a bit. Perhaps just lead with the hips a touch more.

I am planting my feet this way all the time, both running and walking. Tried to correct it, but its straining the muscles so just living with it :)

When you say rolling across the big toe do you mean rolling off the inside of the big toe instead of over it?

girlfriend has bunions , and the outside rear edge is of shoes is worn away I guess this is normal ?

Yeah, likely turned out to set the foot up for rolling across the big toe joint, rather than through it.
