Let the adventure begin! A 75 degree February day called for an all-day trip down to the southernmost point in Maryland- Point Lookout in St.Mary's. I grabbed my manual Rebel 1100, Amir grabbed his DCT Rebel 1100, @Atopper grabbed his Bobber Black, and Mack grabbed his "Mad Max" styled BMW with more miles than all of our bikes combined, and we headed out! We had no idea how long we'd be out, or the absolute chaos that would ensue, but man was it a good time!
Oh and amongst all the craziness, I also decided to let my Rebel's tank run as close to dry as possible to finally test its MPG and miles per tank. It ended up being a closer call than I expected...or so I thought. In the end I was pleasantly surprised with the mileage I got out of it though!
I've never been to Point Lookout before, but it was one of the most beautiful places I've ever ridden to. The history behind it is fascinating too. Definitely a MUST for anyone riding in/around MD!
