Asics Novablast and Superblast are more ahead over Nike Daily Trainer Series (Pegasus, Pegasus Turbo, Zoom Fly)

Agreed.., I don’t think Nike really cares about daily trainers. but that’s just like an opinion..

If you haven't already seen already, Sagasu Running did a very detailed breakdown about the Nike running line. There're big changes in Nike's Daily Trainers (not race shoes) coming this year or next year and very likely that the Invincible series will be absorbed into the Vomero and the Infinity Run will be eliminated. Everything instead will be under Pegasus, Vomero, and Structure and there may or may not be a premium/plus version of each shoe as well. Also someone who works at New Balance posted on reddit. The More v5 Fresh Foam is supposed to be firmer than the 1080v13.

I've seen several reviews saying that it's a better version of the first SC Trainer, so I'm more interested in that one than the SC Trainer v3 at this point. The v2 is nice, but the v1 is just so much better.

I'm hoping for a Glideride 4. A cushioned agressive daily trainer. A bit like a more agressive Novablast 4 or cushioned Magic Speed 3 with nylon plate.

Would actually like a peg turbo with a plastic plate to rival the endo speed... maybe all zoomx. So, a streakfly with more midsole.... 😅

Don't change too much about the Rocket X2, it's the only thing left that's close to the Vaporfly V.1, a little more foam perhaps but don't overdo it!

Regarding the New Balance SC Trainer line. The og V1 was meant to protect your legs and beacuse it was heavier when you put on your ultra light racers they felt even lighter. It was trainer! At over 6 feet and over 200 pounds my shoes don't react the same as most shoe tubers. What they may find as a liability I more than likely will find as an asset. The NB SC Trainah V1 was perfect for heavier built humans that carry more mass (muscle or otherwise) but then every 140 pound shoe tuber complained about it being heavy and then NB listened. Now we have a watered down version of the shoe in V2 that doesn't work for anyone like the V1 did. The best part most of the same shoe tubers who complained about V1 being too heavy and what not now wish the v2 was more like v1. Maybe V3 will go back to being what V1 was. A bombastic and fun ultra high and ultra soft and responsive uber high stack height shoe meant to protect your legs so you can run more miles. Rant over lol

I've seen quite a few fans of the Kinvars Pro among heavier runners and some like it for faster efforts. Seems the shoe benefits from a good amount of power going in.

Aside from the NB Balos, I am also excited for the Saucony Hurricane 24, ir even the Tempus 2. Also the Brooks Ghost Max 2 is expecting to receive a better foam such as the DNA Loft 3. It's going to be an interesting end of the year.

I love the HOKA Rocket X2, I've only put 110 miles into mine over the last year or so, and have multiple PBs across the half marathon, 10km and 5km. I'll be taking them out for a marathon in July where I'm hoping to get a good for ages for London. I hope HOKA don't ruin the next version, I love how light, squishy and bouncy yet stable the 2 are.

I love when you guys give a radical review on the invincible's. Maybe the price after this, will drop even more! Keep up the good work. By the way, the more v4 that you like so much, is a flop. The midsole bottoms out quickly.

I use the Invincible on my local canal track which is the best surface ive found it excels in (firmish gravel) . Asphalt/road use is not what its designed for imho.

Will there be an SC Trainer v3? The SC elite v4 increased its,weight and could replace the trainer. NB has other basic trainers in the More and the 1080. Saucony appears to have DCed the Endorphin shift in their Endorphin line: just not needed. They have the Triumph and Ride.

They discontinued the turbo because the form midsole kept separating because people were using the other shoe stepping on the heel flair to take them off and basically everyone was complaining and trying to get refunds
