What a helpful video! I've never really put much thought into but the right fit of the liner but it makes perfect sense. Training for a ultra has forced me to pay a lot more attention to the details in my running gear than I used to though.
My pleasure. Thanks for checking out the channel. Yes, getting your gear and nutrition down is crucial as the distances get longer. All the best with your training and racing. Cheers!
@@515coldfire Do you run twice a day?? yeah sure it would feel terrible and too warm - not good for sweat and chafe lol -, although you shouldn't wear underwear with liners
I sweat so much. I have to wash any shorts I wear for running because always feel like 20 degrees hotter than the actual temperature after 5 minutes lol
If you check out their website (Nike for sure), they will have running shorts you can purchase with a built in liner. I hope this helps. Not sure about Puma though.
Sorry for confusing you, if you look at specific Nike shorts, they will tell you if there is a liner. Example is www.nike.com/ca/t/flex-stride-13cm-2-in-1-running-shorts-X64rFj/CJ5467-010. This specific one has a liner. Hope this helps!
You could be right. Coming from a triathlon background, I know what you are referring to. Have to use what works for you! Thanks for watching and taking the time to give feedback. Cheers!
I disagree that with shorts without liners you "have to" wear underwear underneath. For better airflow, cooling down, less sweat and no movement restriction it's good to just put on the linerless shorts
@@Dogwalkerdave Nice pun haha. For me works well for runs of a few hours and day hikes. No issue at all. I don't run longer times anyway. Good idea to try it, it's definitely worth it. I totally switched to linerless shorts after trying and now only wear them that way. If necessary get seamless shorts or with smoother seams or a gusset
@@hrrrrrrr2084 that’s some good info. Thanks again for commenting and watching. I appreciate any and all feedback and people taking the time to watch my content. Cheers. Dave!
