The question of how long a runway is doesn't have as straightforward an answer as we might thing. Many airports publish declared distances, based on takeoff and landing requirements.

When did you start how much did it cost if you don't mind sharing that info...?

@@SailingSarah not at all. I started in sept. It was supposed to be a fast track but weather and illness(COVID, flu) caught a few of us. Should be done by the end of summer. I’m using meritize and the full program cost is over 90000. I don’t have the best credit on earth and didn’t have money down. And I still was able to be approved. Let me know if you have any other questions. Be happy to answer all I know.

This was an eye opener for me, for I didn't know that the landing distance on top of the approach chart is the LDA!! I always wondered where it should be published if a fast runway change was enforced. Thanks a lot for sharing!
