Rick Owens is fucking amazing. He earns hundreds of thousands a year for selling complete and utter shit, and that takes genius. I applaud his laziness.
If they're buying that shit they're probably rich as fuck. We honestly shouldn't be worrying about them with that being said because even if they make shitty clothing decisions their lives are still probably better than ours. They're probably keking at your ass while you wrote that.
It would be very expensive, if you buy the human as well. You have to cover her basic needs like food, clothes etc. Slavery and buying human beings aren't legal in most countries.
I go to Costco for my clothes Decorative fan shirt - $8 Jeans that fit - $16 Durable boots - $34 Grand total of $58, and not only am I clothed, and looking nice, but I also am not dead broke Win - Win
Shit that expensive just go with the Irish way and put on some potatoe sack and starve in a famine for a couple year cos ant got dat moneyyy you eat ramen we eat air my child you got lots to learn
I once asked my sewing teacher about runway fashion, and she told me that they are not mainly intended for the average consumer. Instead they are designed for the actual designers who attend runway shows on behalf of their company and take small details from the runway stuff(like some stripes running down the arm or the fabric type) and implements those details into the clothes normal people buy.
Sounds a bit expensive as a designer, but if you have critics giving you the hits and misses of your product from material, patterns, and what not... it should give your a better end product.
Guys, Grade probably had no control over the prices of his hoodies/shirts. Websites that allow you to put designs on products that they make (like clothes or stickers) will decide how much theyll sell them for, and wont let the artist/seller choose the price. This is because these websites require money so that they can actually make the products with the designs on them, while also paying the designer money from the profits as well. Chances are Grade will only get a small percent of the money he earns from the shirts/hoodies. Now quite complaining its fuckin pathetic.
FINALLY. I wanted to explain all this but I realized these people dont know Nything anyways, and its not like this comment will make em but it anyways. Now fly away captain.
>Literally changed the course of modern music as we know it, has 21 Grammys, the most influential producer in the history of hip-hop (and music in general) and has 7 near perfect, critically acclaimed solo studio albums >bad pick one
Bruh the most honest thing anyone has said about iPhones and not just sucking apple off acting like a phone with a copied camera is worth over 2000 than buy a Samsung for about 1000 to 1500
Your mercy isn't exactly cheap either grade, I could get a nice timberland top for the same price as a top with a badly draw stick figure in the corner.
+A kid In Africa and the merch has to make a profit, as well as have some money to go towards the RU-vidr. 1 tshirt is probably worth a lot more than a couple of views
That's actually what I read the first time Run away fashion Then I watched the video and I was like: oh so that's y they call it run away fashion Then I read the title again and I was like I liked run away fashion better as the name.

I feel like a good representation of this video is in the show Regular Show. In one episode, mordecai and rigby make it into a fancy club by spray painting some trash bags and wearing them
The shirts I get the most compliments on, I swear on my life, are random crappy Halloween shirts from Wal-Mart. My dollar store sunglasses lasted me almost 11 years. Bought a designer pair, and they broke within 2 months. Expensive =/= quality, and many IDIOTS out there who buy this high-end SHIT mentioned in this video can't seem to grasp that...
If high end retailers sell quality items, they won't break. That's the problem. They want it to break so you have to come back and buy the same thing again.
ironically. FFXV character clothing was made by a Japanese fashion designer and you can buy some of them for the low low price of a shit ton of yen rounding around 1000 dollars or so for a jacket alone
Being someone absolutely enamored with fashion and costume design, runway fashion just makes me feel sad and hopeless sometimes. The industry is being overrun with brainlets.
I'm sure you've gone and said something dicky on the internet before, so don't go being a white knight and being all, 'if you haven't got anything nice to say don't say anything at all' It's the bloody internet, get used to it.
I've done that on multiple videos. It can take a moment as they're usually on screen so fast, but when you finally pause it just right and get to read those thoughts, it's down right hilarious.
It seems like a good thing, but I metaphorically live under a rock and only know two facts for sure about Kanye West: He is a rapper He is married to a Kardashian. Can you explain to me the benefits and any negatives to my situation? I find it hard to believe anyone is as stupid as Grade makes him sound.
yeah, my dad is an artist and he paints (and draws) realistic art, which takes him probably a few months to make each, and he rarely sells a painting for $3k. Modern artists can sell paintings that took them fucking 3 hours for over a million dollars :(
RanK Keter I once visited a modern art gallery. I saw a slab of concrete with a mop stuck in the middle. I wanted to leave. The only reason they sell for that much is because they have "big" names attached to them. Either way, it's an "emperor's clothes" mentality. Not saying all modern art is bad, but I'd say 99% is. Seriously, modern art has been the lowliest movement ever. There used to be standards, now there are none. There are injustices with the whole thing too, your dad an example. I'm so tired of it and I hope we move on from this phase soon. :/
I love fashion and I've studied both fashion and costume design and I had a good laugh at this video. I think it's wittier commentary on the fashion world than that Zoolander sequel. The fashion world is insane, admittedly runway fashion is not ready-to-wear. They are usually extravagant costumes that can convey anything from political statements to satire. But even ready-to-wear items by the world's leading designers are impractical, overpriced and not of the quality you woul expect given the price.
Courtney Coulson You think that it's extravagant to express political statements through clothes? LOL It's almost as if mixing two concepts that shouldn't be mixed equate to something grand. Please tell me how painting extra eyebrows or having dresses that make you look like a peacock show anything?
+CreamyPie it shows how weird they are. which is precisely why I like it. I enjoy the strange and unusual, and fashion falls into that category very well.
@@babz527 No wonder I can never find them when I have to do dusting duties before my job opens when I'm the opener. Makes me wonder how she could even see in that.
I know what you mean about runway fashion. Who would wear it for actual clothing? And who do those designers have in mind when they made these clothes? I can't believe how expensive such a weird thing as a plastic shirt would be. And who shops on these websites? I have never seen anyone, especially men, wearing anything even remotely close to runway show clothes! It's all a bunch of people who are trying to come up with something weirder than the other ones. It's like modern-art-on meth threw up on a bunch of people who are so anorexic that we wonder if they have the strength to walk down the stage and back! That's what the applause is for.
Alright I think if you aren't into fashion shows then of couse you won't get the point of them. No one wears the stuff you see on the runway, but thats not the point of the pieces. They're there to set the theme for whatever collection the designer is currently producing, not for actual wearing.
The reason his fashion is successful is because he made a name for himself with his music. If he wasn't such a good producer and rapper he wouldn't be successful with fashion.
How to be a fashion designer. It's that easy. All you gotta do is buy a cheap shirt, pants or other clothes. Put your brand on it. Then sell it for $1000.
It isn't doomed. It is just a masterpiece in progress. He has no choice but to do it or we will make that title of his next video start with " I LIKE....."
+Avey Tare but don't you think it's a bad thing to put your health on the line just for a job and models are ment to represent the human body in top physical condition and being that skinny is no where near that.
I misread the title as “Runaway Fashion” and I just imagined people running in formal clothes, stealthily running through the desert, selling clothes to other refugees living in beaten down RVs
Rethink everthing up to this point or you will find 10 naked guys with baseball bats carved to look like horse dicks to do whatever they want after i randomly select them and pay their bail.
