Tiwa people are still in Assam closed to borders of Ri Bhoi. Many including me migrated to Ri Bhoi in 17 and 18th Century and were known as Karow or Bhoi Khasi. The Clan or Kur of the migrated Tiwas started with the word Ma like Makdoh, Maiong or Majhong, Mallai, Maslai, Matlai, Maklai, Masharing, Mithi or Muktieh and many more .
As.other Assamese this girl didn't fry the fish before putting into the sauce....anyhow the way she prepared is very appreciable.....we can very well learn how we can be natural ,,,casual,,,and simple......nice vedio,,,,God bless,,,,,
This reminds me of my own life way back as a young child growing up at the farm. Always something fresh to eat. Thank you for sharing your beautiful life with us. Farming is not easy but eventually satisfying.
I was with the Tiwa people for almost 5 to 6 years, they are very simple and peace loving people. I still remembered when one Tiwa family invited me for a dinner, the way how they prepared dried fish (nahflang) was so delicious. I remembered only one word of appreciation when they taught me the word sewa pangai.
