🇩🇪 “Most people in Germany believe that Russia is dangerous and the Russian people are bad”: this is the real story of Klaus Burger @klausburger1958 a German composer and tuba player 🎺 who left his native city of Baden-Baden 🇩🇪 and moved to Russia’s Ural region 🇷🇺 in search of freedom and the life he’s always dreamt about.
Klaus maintains that he ran away from European tolerance, or whatever that really means, as well as the sense of fear and the irrational laws of the German government.
He doesn’t seem to look like a typical foreigner in Russia. Klaus has already put down roots here, both as a Ural hermit and a remarkable artist. 🌳🎼
Klaus Burger @klausburger1958 has got a bunch of epic stories, like when he threw away his brand new ‘Nike’ shoes from a car, surviving Russian winter ❄️ in a small Ural village while the temperature was at -45C 🥶 and occasionally poisoning himself as well as two other people with a toxic plant ☣️ in their dinner.
