I've not tried the transition lens... rocking Toxin 2.0 with multiple different color tinted visors... don't really have a problem with them when it gets dark
I just got that same bucket. For cold and rain. They had the free blue tooth thing when I ordered now they got the transition visor as the “free” gift or whatever. My big ass sun glasses don’t fit in too many buckets .. so I have had big full face ones that I’d carry a dark and clear visor. Royal PITA. My Ole Lady has a bell helmet that has changing visor and was always like damn… that gotta be nice. Saw this and order it for my atlas 4.0 core poverty spec version (the others are wayyy too flashy looking for my taste .. the carbon fiber one is cool tho). $180 for a fkn visor but if it works well and saves me from carrying even more shit with me.. worth it. Didn’t try the changing visor yet just got here yesterday. Ride safe bro 😎
Hi, I have just purchased & fitted the photochromic visor to my Atlas 4.0 & have noticed that it will not clip into the fully closed locked position unless you push down on the visor from the top as it seems to twist when trying to fully close it. Do you have the same problem? The standard visor that came with the helmet however closes fully perfectly.
Had 2 of them... 1st was hard to open and close... 2nd was better, but for the money it was useless to me... fogged up too easy because the helmet has no breath guard and their most expensive visor is also their only visor with NO PINLOCK. So, I always use my Shoei RF1400 with Photochromic shield instead. Ended up selling my 4.0, and buying a scorpion EXO-1400 carbon. Ruroc is still not close to a premium helmet yet, except for the price.
@jonathandonohue9942 copied and pasted from their website: "NOT Compatible with Pinlock (The Photochromic Transition Visor has a built-in anti-fog coating)"... and I've had 2 of them... unless something just changed and they didn't update the website yet
