We’ve had Rush’s fantasy, philosophical prog era. We’ve had their social commentary era. Now the last three songs on Clockwork Angels are just straight up life advice from Neil, Geddy, and Alex. Headlong Flight- Live with no regrets Wish Them Well- Don’t let people’s negativity get you down. Just wish them well and walk away. The Garden- Treat others and yourself with love and respect, and others will respond in kind.

Over 40 years and still rocking rush is the best band ever

Rush really went back to their roots on this one. The guitar, the drums, and bass show that, even on their last album, they could still rock. May their legacy endure this era of terrible music. Long live Rush!!!

There is a lot being said by these guys on this album… more than most people care to listen for… The Garden being the last song Neil ever wrote and Garden road being the first song Alex and Geddy wrote. In their eyes this is the best Rush album ever written, played, recorded and produced. It sums up the journey of their 40 year career. No other rock band in history ever did what these 3 guys did. Then to end it all with this brilliant epic tale of “Clockwork Angels”… Neil’s swan song….

@@timebandit0123 Clockwork Angels is like a bottom tier Rush album. It has a few good songs, but mostly forgettable drivel.

To reach that point in life that you do free yourself from anything from your past I can notice all the blessings in disguises from finding as many mistakes misunderstandings as possible offer up my sincere apologies and make full amends even if I did have to go far beyond any normal effort but I did this with full passion drive effort because the ppl who I know now are my lifelong friend and family always let me know if and when I do start figuring out my own life I would understand things so much more clear like hidden talents how my absolute refusal to acknowledge a whole huge part of my life because I couldn't see how I belong now I can admit how did I make it going always my own way but we as a ppl are supposed to follow your heart especially when you are of true faith regardless of what that was and is

Three questions. What is being said between 4:19 and 4:33? And then right after that, did they mix in a live audience during those drums? Also, is that a great solo by Alex starting at the 5 minute mark or what? #RUSHrocks

Since I see nobody has answered you, I shall (though it's been 6 months and you may not see this): "The days were dark, And the nights were bright Hey now, I would never trade tomorrow for today" Not sure about the live audience, and yes... Alex Lifeson is spectacular. Take care, and keep the music and stories of Rush in your life.

That heavily distorted line during the instrumental bridge does not fit the song, specifically, the "evil villain" vibe I'm getting from the voice of the person.
