Memphis Mayor just publicly defended and endorsed this behavior in response to others commenting on Memphis crime.

If I wanted to I could probably find enough videos of this type of incident to watch all day and they all have something in common.

I'm glad I was able to travel the entire country many times on motorcycle vacations through the early 90's to the late 2010's. Around 2020 my car and motorcycle trips have all but tapered off. I now find more enjoyment landscaping and being at home with my wife and dogs. Society in America will never be the same since they stopped punishing criminals and I'm glad to have lived and traveled America during the best era of it.

Such a vibrant culture. We're lucky to have such diversity.

There are many cities with gun violence problems, but lately Memphis seems to have experience more than their share. Children with guns reeking violence upon other children. None of this makes any sense. Where are the parents? Are they monitoring their children's activities? Do they check their children's backpacks, bedrooms, or maintain any semblance of disilipen? Where is the Memphis community? Do they lock their car doors when weapons are inside the vehicle? Do they actively assist law enforcement in investigations, or are they too scared? None of this violence will stop until the adults step up. Sadly that is true everywhere, not just Memphis. Gun violence is epidemic. Children are dying, maybe your child will be another victim. If everyone would take a small bit of responsibility, instead of pretending it is someone else's problem, then maybe together we can begin to turn this violence around. Doing something, no matter how small is better than doing nothing. Look again at the photograph of the man carrying that child victim down the freeway. He's a hero in my book. He is doing something. Imagine how torn up he is inside for the welfare of a child in his community.
