Excellent, all music matters but fantastic to see some RU-vid footage for a record store catering to these genres. If you watch other vinyl vlogs you would think most vinyl collectors only listen to classic rock and jazz, more variety like this please
4:35 You know we're talking hipsters when there's a girl casually carrying an open package of Wasa french herbs crisp bread... I do love a fine record shop in this day and age though.
Haha nah it's just an odd choice of snack. Carrying around and eating hard bread unironically would be considered super hipster, at least a few years ago. May be different now though as being "hipster" is so diffuse and in the mainstream today. No hate!
@Tenet True. I don't mind an artisanal record store here and there as long as the old-fashioned wall-to-ceiling been-there-god-knows-how-long cramped record stores are still a thing.
Spent 3 days in Amsterdam earlier this year. First time over there, I walked by Rush Hour completely by chance. Glad I stepped in and bought a few records!
I tried to find this place about about 15 years ago while on a weekend break with my now wife. A combination too many spliffs and not having a clue where I was, ended up walking around in circles. Ha ha, might get there one day.
i went to the old one, high as fck asking a bum in front of the store if he was san proper lol to the guy behind the desk back then, if you remember me i really have to say i am sorry - thank you for still treating me so polite. dope record shop.
