Thanks for the bonus track from The Tragically Hip, another Canadian treasure. New Orleans Is Sinking and Bobcaygeon are two more tracks of theirs that you may like. Cheers from Toronto!

So good. The underground sleeper of Moving Pics. So evocative. Everything that’s great about the band.

F*ck...that version of Witch Hunt was fire! When the album Moving Pictures came out in '81 they didn't have the tech to play that one live, it was the ONLY song on that album they DIDN'T play on that tour. (I saw it four times!) They used to literally "indulge themselves" for one song, on early albums, with a song they didn't expect they'd play live. But the tech evolved and in later tours (or sometimes just after recording) they began playing such songs live. La Villa Strangiato is where it all began. Then on the next album Different Strings, then Witch Hunt, Losing It, Available Light, etc. It was really a treat to see them play Losing It, live in Denver on the Clockwork Angels tour, with a live electric violin player! (that's why they didn't play it live before, it has a violin solo!)

I’m so happy to have seen Rush in concert four times. I’m so happy I got to see the greatest drummer of all time. Only other is John Bonham. Both are GOATS.

I did too, at least 8 times, but I have only the vaguest memories of those concerts (or the rest of my personal life, for that matter...)!

Thanks for getting to these live tracks by Rush. I think Alex guitar work stands out more in this live version than on the studio tracks, especially on Witch Hunt. I really loved the surprise addition of The Hip. Would love to see your reaction to these songs by them: - New Orleans is Sinking. - Twist my arm - Grace Too - Courage Please more Tragically Hip. Love to see you back at it.

Rush and the Hip! Fabulous!❤❤ Just to let you know the guys in Rush like myself are big Monty Python fans. Alex's solos ❤ This was one of my favourite Hip songs. Just call them the Hip as we do in Canada. Easier to say. Cheers

Us Canadians can survive on a generous diet of our homegrown music. Not discluding anything from outside our bubble, but we have got the best talent per capita than the rest of the world!

About the Hip, sad fact: lead singer, Gord Downey, died of the same brain cancer as Neil Peart, Glioblastoma. Whereas Peart, a very shy and private man, managed to prevent his diagnosis from becoming public, Downie and his band embarked on an epic, national tour, primarily to raise awareness and support for our first nations (aka indigenous peoples). Downey died in 2017, about a year and a half after receiving his diagnosis. Peart quietly received his diagnosis in the autumn of 2016, dying in January, 2020. Apparently his genetics provided his doctors with an opportunity to extend his life to about double the normal prognosis. Terrible disease... The last Tragically Hip concert, held in the hockey arena in the home town of Kingston, Ontario, attracted famous Canadian friends of the band, from Dan Ackroyd to Prime Minister Trudeau. It was broadcast live by the CBC, attracting an estimated 12 million viewers. Keeping in mind that the entire population of Canada at that time (2016) was only 35 million gives you some idea of how utterly beloved the Tragically Hip were in Canada. The Hip had 13 studio albums (which might not be as impressive as Rush's 19, but impressive nonetheless). That means you have an additional Canadian rabbit hole, should you choose it. There are so many great Hip songs, but I'd recommend these to start: "Poets" "Nautical Disaster" "Boots or Hearts" "My Music at Work" "Grace Too" PS - There's one thing I must stress about any Hip reactions: don't just listen to official studio cuts BUT ALSO don't just watch live versions. You must do both. Downie was one of the most unforgettable front men in the history of rock and roll. So, you simply have to see his live performances. The only catch, however, is that he often took enough liberty with their songs in those live performances that you might miss a fair bit if you didn't also check out the studio tracks for each as well.

Camera is a song comparing/contrasting NYC and London. The lyrics are amazing. Witchhunt is a lesson for us all. Still all too relevant.
