80s rush is insane. Everyone gravitates to the usual - moving pictures, 2112 but this drum work is next level. The complex patterns.. just so cool. Amazing cover AGAIN
Yes! I think the musical complexity Rush achieved in the 70’s was maintained throughout the 80’s. Often increased at times. Other songs that come to mind are Emotion Detector, Red Lenses, Red Sector A, and Second Nature. Particularly the latter, as Neil discussed that he switched between two sets of triggers mid-song.
Where have you been, my good man? Been ANXIOUSLY waiting for another video from you. I can't put my finger on exactly what it is, but every single time I watch one of your Rush cover "tributes$, it just gives me chills, and I enjoy the greatest 3hpiece rock band in history 10× better! You're the greatest Rush cover drummer that's ever graced YT with their presence! LOVE EVERYTHING YOU DO! DON'T EVER STOP! I KNOW Neil is smiling down on you, and shaking his head in disbelief! RIP Neil.🙏🙏🥁🥁🤙❤️❤️✌️
Sterling you do a fantastic job of KEEPING THE GREAT LEGACY OF NEIL PEART ALIVE! You’re a fantastic musician and represent Rush and Neil’s dedication at a truly incredible level! Blessings to you and your family this holiday! Doctor David San Antonio, Texas
This same guy did Red Lenses he's awesome. Neil was one of the hardest drummers to cover. Every strike of his stick meant something almost like vocals.
You make this song look so effortless... this is the best compliment I could give you. Incredible, as always, Sterling... a pleasure to watch you work. the magic.
Very jealous of your set up, both acoustic and electric. I like your style, very smooth and deliberate. I need to practice playing that way myself. Check out some of my covers if you get a chance. I did Subdivisions on Neil’s birthday.
