I like the time machine tour live in Cleveland Version of LA VILLA STRANGIATO , same show as working man. 30 years later than the more well known version, just like working man, Alex and geddy get the crowd involved in the instrumental, the earlier version of la villa strangiato was staged more for the cameras. Also have a look at another great instrumental from the same show LEAVE THAT THING ALONE live in Cleveland, with some great bass playing by Geddy Lee , and one of their final great instrumentals WHERES MY THING, HERE IT IS live in Dallas, same again a great bass start, with a shorter Neil peart drum solo in the middle section. EVERYONE reviews Tom Sawyer, the studio version, but the funniest and greatest version was that amazing show THE TIME MACHINE TOUR LIVE IN CLEVELAND. with the funny intro videos the boys used to show before the songs. You've got to watch. THE REAL HISTORY OF RUSH/TOM SAWYER. WAIT TILL YOU SEE THE GUYS IN MAKE UP AND COSTUMES. Alex lifeson hardly recognisable in a huge fat suit, comedy GENIUS. You will also see 3 beautiful girls carrying trays of beer, the joke refers to one of their earlier albums Moving pictures. The video goes into a great live performance of Tom Sawyer, the crowd still laughing watching our 3 hero's playing each others instruments on a huge screen behind them. Then you have to do the funny version of the spirit of radio from the same show, time machine tour live in Cleveland, the video takes place in. "GERSHON'S HAUS of sausage, nobody beats our sausage ". The boys are trying to find the best version of the spirit of radio using Alex's time machine, but things don't go to plan, another great comedy performance, wait til you see Alex dancing, followed by an amazing version of the spirit of radio. Then after more rush songs you have to watch their final great song from their final album...THE GARDEN, LIVE CLOCKWORK ANGLES TOUR. A great vocal performance buy geddy Lee. Another great vocal performance that gets overlooked was THE MISSION live SNAKES AND ARROWS TOUR. Beautiful song, I think this was one of geddy's greatest live singing performances. Also drummer's out there! Keep a close eye on the drumming during this song I think this was one of Neil's greatest masterclasses, there's also a drum camera video of this tune for a closer look. I suggest La Villa Strangiato next from their album Hemispheres 1978. It's the instrumental masterpiece that showcases transitions and tones. It's a series of Alex Lifeson's nightmares told through music. As you continue your journey down the Rush Rabbit Hole, start to focus on lyrics as well. Haha - loved your expression when Alex left the fret board. This may well be the best musical performance in the history of mankind. As far as I am aware anyhow. Xanadu - from the Exit Stage Left video is the only one that rivals it (in my mind). YYZ in Rio is another.

If you never listened them before, Midnight Oil are the kind of band that knocks back an invitation to perform at a Grammy awards night because the date coincides with a free local community concert. Peter Garrett a lawyer who became Rock star who became an environmental minister and the band really show what it means to give everything you have!🎺🎷🎸

Now This is a concert that should have found Charles front row center! I like the bit of reggae/ska vibe in the opening & this is one of their songs I've heard before. You didn't need to add anything at the end, you were so into it Stevie Wonder could see it 😎 They have a devout following for a reason; I'd say great reaction, but that would be redundant. "My adrenaline pumping now". Not surprising, the energy you expended there....
I’ve watched just about every reaction to this video, and you’re the first to notice the stage-lighting reggae colors at the beginning of the song (which didn’t have any reggae vibe in its studio recording; this was them having fun with it live). The colors were more obvious at the show itself-I was there-but still, I’ve been waiting for someone to notice. And it was you, my man. Well spotted! As for what else to watch: I always, always, ALWAYS recommend the Frankfurt drum solo (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-LWRMOJQDiLU.html), which sounds like it will be boring and is absolutely anything but. “Subdivisions” (live or studio) is really good, but if you want to do one almost nobody else has, “Driven” is a strong choice. But whatever you listen to from them, it’ll be a journey. Enjoy!
Working Man is my favorite Rush song but the studio version. Not really hip on the reggae intro. Check out the studio version because the guitar solos are incredible.
FYI - studio version is off their very first album "Rush" done in 1974. It's the only album with the original drummer, John Rutsey; Neil came in for the second album, Fly By Night and it was the Holy Trilogy until the end.

I am always one that loves Natural Science and Xanadu. If you want newer Far Cry and Headlong Flight. In the middle I’m a big fan of Subdivisions and Time Stand Still. I’m always one the preferred live but studio works too. Thanks.
You gotta hear the studio version. Much better. This is when they were older. So he doesn't even sound the same. Please don't play live unless it's SRV or led zepplin. Period!
This is fantastic but 2112 in RIO is BETTER....And nobody has reacted to it yet......Rush fans like the SOFTER version of 2112, such as the studio version....
