This is an absolutely deserved victory of all time. Ruslana is amazing. I rewatched all the Eurovision broadcasts since 1956. She was the first in 48 years to make this contest not boring. Her performance is a sip of clean, cool water in the middle of the desert. Have you seen what Euro was like before 2004? There, those performers seem to have been taken down from the cross. However, after Ruslana's fiery "Wild Dances", all other countries woke up and started to put on an interesting show as well

20 лет назад я смотрела это Евровидение, будучи подростком и живя на россии. Думала, ну ничего себе, какая Руслана интересная, какой язык колоритный. Тогда же в 2004 мы с родителями переехали из россии обратно в Украину (и родители, и я родом с Харькова). Спустя 20 лет слушаю ее снова, невероятный драйв, одно из самых ярких выступлений конкурса. И ещё я очень счастлива, что эти 20 лет я живу в Украине. Украина❤ Слава голубому небу и бескрайним жёлтым полям💙💛
@@freikorpsdamonisch8127 я бы даже не назвала это мудрым решением, скорее, закономерностью. Мои родители коренные Харьковчане, бабушки, дедушки, все пра, пра-пра родычи-с Харькова и Полтавы. Я тоже родилась в Харькове. Но отец закончил летное училище в Харькове, и при совке его в принудительном порядке отправили "осваивать дальний восток", тогда никто не спрашивал, либо барашка в конверте занести, либо ехать к черту на кулички. Денег не было, потому из Харькова сослали аж на дальний восток. Впрочем, спустя время вернулись обратно. Чему в итоге я несказанно рада.

Когда я вернулась с родителями в Харьков-сплошь русские школы и классы, русский язык из каждого утюга, а если кто-то изредка и встречался, говорящий на украинском, смотрели, как на приехавшего, не местного. При всем при этом, Харьков до мозга костей Украинский город, никто там русский мир никогда не хотел и не ждал, как бы пропаганда не пыталась убедить в обратном. Сегодняшние события лишний раз тому подтверждение. Извините, что пишу вам на русском языке. Разговорная украинская речь у меня на достаточном уровне, а вот с письмом проблемы, путаюсь в буквах. Школа на россии, а потом институт в Харькове с русскоязычной программой обучения все же дали о себе знать.

This song was so ahead of its time. I think they broke the Eurovision mould by daring to be different and acts have been much more diverse and fun since then.

@@thewazir7362 Exactly. And that's why I gave her 6,5 instead of 4,0 which is the grade what I hear deserves. She got 2,5 bonus because she obviously dances her ass off since the very beginning of this epic presentation. Most people would struggle even to keep breathing after that. :p But the singing itself (if I only use my ears and not my eyes at all) is very far from perfection (10). So I believe 6,5 is fair for her case.

27 here, and having the same thoughts. Wild Dances is one of the tops that i remember well. It's what makes a good song for Eurovision. It's catchy, upbeat, and makes up for a good show. Ruslana absolutely nailed it, she's forever in my heart lol

When I was in primary school, we organized a show with this song on our national children's day and I couldn't find the name of this song. Exactly eight years have passed, and as I wondered about the Eurovision Türkiye winner, I remembered that this song was the song of our program. And this is a unique feeling. It was as if a door to that period opened in my mind. That first melody creates the same excitement in my heart. Everyone is watching us and our show begins. It's like I'm looking for my mother and father in that crowd. I miss the old times and being a kid :) Thank you Ruslana for introducing us to this song. Loves from Türkiye.

@@tatarrich9295 теперь точно можно сказать - Нет, не задала. Но заняла хорошее 5 место. Шум - не та песня с которой надо было ехать, а вот инструмента самое то!. Многие критики хвалят имеют инструментальную часть, особенно им нравилась наша флейта, но никак не песню Шум.
