god he is just so unexplainably charming, he's mesmerizing when he speaks, i love watching interviews with him, he is just so articulate and quick witted that you just want to listen to him speak over and over again.
I love Russell most when he is on OTHERS shows. It is so amazing to watch. It is obvious that these and others who have him on their show do NOT have others like him. They interview thousands of people have thousands of guests and yet with Russell its exciting its new its fresh and they LOVE it. It is so awesome to see the power come through his alchemy.
Omg when he said he wanted "a dynasty of show off children" (lol) how they all melted into puddles like it was the greatest thing they'd ever heard. The way she drooled when she said, "That's great!" This show is just so easy to make fun of.
Russel brand is extremely smart..and also he cares about animals and people.. He helps a lot of people and is all about it. He has a good heart and he has in incredible vocabulary. Added to that he has extremely sharp wit and is always happy and hilarious. He helps women who have suffered from domestic violence, the elderly and others. I think it is crazy that anyone could call someone with a good heart stupid. It just makes YOU look incredibly stupid.
Wow! I had to respond and tell you how much I admired your response. Not many people, especially if you look at these comments, seem capable of offering a sincere and mature apology. I'll have to take your word for it, as I've only seen the odd clip from The View. I thought, though, that the only conservative one of the bunch was Elisabeth Hassleback?
@Annie1962 I think she likes Russell. In the previous interviews she interacted with him a bit and didn't seem withdrawn. I think Whoopi does most of her talking at the beginning of the show and then stays pretty quiet for the rest.
It's so funny how these ladies don't get Russell at all. "This time it is personal... wait, how is it more personal as the first one was your autobiography?" "It's not, it was a joke." -blank stare- LOL!
Joy and Elizabeth both look unhappy about Russell not voting. Both ladies represent the two sides, in this, probably for once, feel the same on an issue. Both are so far involved, verbally; on a daily basis, with the political system, both seem to truly subscribe to the polarization of the Political atmosphere. Here is a rare moment when both women are offended for the same reason, but as always, still on their own divisive perches.
There is absolutely no hope what-so-ever in the vastness that is the Universe if we cannot unify and solidify all religious beliefs, concepts, and ideas into one solitary, whole being of conscious understanding and knowledge. The likeness of all religion is the cornerstone to the spirituality within. The faith itself is the most important- not the context surrounding it. Without love, the infinitude of energy that runs through all things will extinguish, leaving naught but ash in its wake.
My mum hates him. But I honestly love him. He's very inspiring. & Very interesting. I love his accent. And how he words everything. He is amazing. End of. & I hope my mum reads this. :L
@mirrenmaniac Speaking quickly and using a big word where a small one would have demonstrated your familiarity with the subject better is a sign of an acquired vocabulary, it's like watching a performing parrot.
not sure about the spirituality thing but definitely agree about love being in politics especially regarding the Obama vs Romney thing that is all about ultimate power and not giving a damn about helping the citizens
@mirrenmaniac RB has an acquired vocabulary which is used in quite an unreal way to disguise the way he would naturally express himself. I mean acquired in the sense that he has learnt a long word from the dictionary every day (Kenneth Williams used to do this) and then stuffed all the long words into an interview. Very intelligent people usually express themselves quite simply, the economy is a demonstration of this. The mockney accent never fooled me, maybe some Americans but not me.
@RizoSaysAha It is an attempt at Nadsat slang but falls way short of the mark. The human condition is a bit depressing, death sells. That's a reference from 'This is Spinal Tap'.
@TGKayla hey dude, dudette. .. you should check out some of his stand up or movies. . . he has a hilarious turn of phrase and aside from having to pay close attention to keep up. .. he is an honest chap when given the chance by what I see as quite constrained media types. . . happy hunting
At first I only thought that why would anyone marry a freak like him, to be honest, but I've been watching a couple interviews and he seems like such a great guy.
I don't think Whoopie likes him. She's very quiet and notice how her leg is crossed away from him and the other ladies' legs are crossed towards Russell. Body language!! :)
this guy is a fucking onion, hes got layers on layers on layers like an ogre. im not the type to drool over celebrities or worship the ground they walk on. hell i hardly ever praise people in entertainment. but this guy... he actually thinks. i know thats a crazy proposal to some but the man has taken his experience and his view of the world and molded them into a system of beliefs and philosophies (which is what all people should do) instead of just eating the bullshit they feed us. Respect.
