@@javierlandaverde4108 didnt Chris paul score 27 points and hit a game winner against spurs during game 7? And 26 and 10 agaisnt houstan. Man doesnt really choke
@Ronald Mack Facts. Gotta appreciate how committed he is. I'm starting a petition to count his TOs as assists because of how many points he's generating for OKC.
Hechi Obiakor he is overrated. All about stats and not winning. That’s why he hasn’t got out the first round since Durant left him and I won’t be surprise if they lose tomorrow
Me: This man came off an injury, cut him some- **Airballs from free throw line** Me: I mean, he's still rusty- 2 possessions later... Mike D'antoni: **LET'S A RUSTY RUSS HANDLE THE BALL IN CLUTCH** Me: Wait, why is Harden not... Russ: **TURNS OVER THE BALL INSTEAD OF EUROING** I'm a Heat fan now
@@reilly3517 he can't lead a team when he cares more about stats than anything, he will get triple double even if it means shitty ass fg% or hella turnover, man is too inconsistent to be a number 1 option.
Enzo bro the reason he gets rebounds is because their offense scores the most in fastbreaks and by getting their best player and fastest the ball they can get fast breaks easier so he doesn’t pad stats that’s their offense and the reason he has bad fg % cause he had no knock down shooters so instead of passing to a dude who was gonna brick it he just took the shots but in Houston he’s a beast
That may be the case and I don't knock KD for leaving. It's the fact that he went to the warriors 😂🤦🏽♂️I don't like KD, but he's a top 3 small forward ever
I like that he went to the Warriors since it showed that he wasn't going to be a bitch and crumble under the media pressure, but went to the team that he wanted to play for. It's not his fault that the Golden State warriors is/was an amazing franchise with the cap space to sign him. It's not like he took a huge payout and played for like 10 mil a year. A great move by a great player
Bro we dont care that he left OKC we care he went to the 73-9 warriors who they shoulda beat but choked 3-1.Snaked his team and went for an easy ring. His a straight baller though, one of those players u cant stop u can only slow him down
Y’all need to stop saying this shit 😂. People don’t care and shouldn’t care for leaving OKC. If he joined sam near any other team besides GSW I wouldn’t of been mad. Especially seeing how GSW whooped their ass the year b4
What makes us angry is that he joins an overpowered gsw and then acts like he is some sort of a dawg. He really thinks he is better than Lebron haha. If we swaped them gsw and paired lebron with curry klay and green it would be over for 6 years
People need to get rid of Wilt & Bill Russell in their top 10, they played before the modern NBA where their stats are inflated wit the pace being so much higher due to teams bricking shots left to right where big man were able to collect more boards getting over 20 per game, a lot of unathletic white guts, unskilled players where their shooting with two hands without even jumping shooting set shots & teams having only 9 teams. 1-9 got to be MJ, Lebron, Shaq, Hakeem, Magic, Bird, Duncan, Kobe & Kareem in morning particular order. U can add KD at #10 or even higher on the top 10. I think eventually if there’s more players that are coming into the league being dominant & displaying greatness Duncan & Hakeem got to be bump out the list. Hakeem won his wings when MJ wasn’t available. Duncan was very consistent as a winner but his #s don’t blow u away & was never dominant like that, even though Duncan is Mr Fundamental with his post game guys like AD have way better #s & AD can surpass Tim easily if AD wins rings wit the Lakers
That’s why I don’t blame Durant for leaving the Thunder. They were going to run the same thing expecting something different. It just shouldn’t have been the Warriors, especially just after blowing a lead against them.
No one has a problem with KD leaving. Its that he left to a team who came back 3-1 and he CHOKED. Thats like Kawhi asking for a trade to the Nuggest right now, or Wayoff P
@@dalesabandal9113 Oh, Harden... you mean the guy that consistently hits stepback 3s in peoples faces over the guy who threw 6 turnovers off bad passes and airballed? Right.
@@fafinaf i mean harden, the man who consistently shrunk from clutch game after clutch game. You know, the one who shot 6pts against the spurs in game 6? or the man who bricked away a finals appearance against the warriors. I get that Westbrook is bad, but if im D'antoni I wouldn't trust harden either
@@tadeokrzos2550 he didnt . When you are the super star of a team and you are mvp so they put the presure on you like miami did however the defense was good he put 18 points on them
Personally I don’t blame KD for not wanting to play with him, but I do blame him for blowing a 3-1 lead to the warriors and then joining them after they won 73-9 games
@@m1678_ i mean Just imagine social media if houston lost to in the 1st round to a team they gave picks to. Granted its unlikely, but that would reach 2016 GSW 3-1 lead status
Westbrook my favorite player n okc my favorite team so this hard for me 😭🤦🏽♂️ but Westbrook Choked last night can’t lie but he still a lil rusted cuz he only been playing for 3 games in the playoffs
Durant isn't that smart. He paired himself up with another iso point guard that doesn't make the players around him better. The Kyrie experiment will end badly.
Some players doesn't know how to win they have the physical gifts but lack the will and decision making at crunch time that's what separate multi titled players liked Jordan, Kobe, Bird, Magic etc etc.
That turnover was not Westbrook's fault. I'm usually the one who doesn't like him but watch it again. Robert covington sprinted and stopped 5 feet behind the 3 pt line. Westbrook assumed covington wouldn't be an idiot and thought he would run to the 3 pt line so he threw the pass.
@@jaimebenitez3208 Yeah I agree with Sean, on any other play, Robert Covington would've jumped into the pass to shoot. But he was on his heels and couldn't maintain possession. You could tell Mike D'Antoni drew that play too, because Westbrook barely even looked at Robert since he knew he was supposed to be there. It was a miscommunication, and a prime example of why you should always be ready to catch the basketball at any given time.
@@iranianintelligenceagency9337 there was 7 seconds left after the turnover. Why would covington put up a 3, possibly make it, and give okc a possible last second shot. Situational basketball. Westbrook has proven he doesn't understand that. Why you think they said harden should of had the ball. He would of atleast dribbled and gotten the last second shot off.
@@jaimebenitez3208 I agree that Harden should have had the ball. However, if Covington jumped into the ball like everyone is taught to, there could've been a win for Houston and that's over. But he was on his heels and couldn't move quick enough.
I've been saying this for years and I get called a hater for this. Westbrook is literally one of the lowest IQ "superstars" NBA history. 😂😂😂 all that heart and rage he plays with is pointless if you cant harness it correctly. If you cant control yourself why would I expect you to control an NBA game.
6:12 Nah. Clint Capela is trash without a bigtime point guard. We're in an era of small ball and Morey is a master for luring a top 10 defensive player of 2018-19 w/ a 3pt shot who is Covington.
100% agree with the whole video. KDs move looks better every game Russ plays. OKC would’ve needed Harden or a player like him for KD and Westbrook to have success. Westbrook got a taste of being the #1 option basically the entire 2015 season when KD got injured and its probably the worst thing that could’ve happened to his career
As a previous OKC fan and a previous hardcore westbrook apologist, I'm here to tell the fans of his to open your eyes. Most people slam my guy Ben Simmons for not shooting and or not evolving but what has russ gotten better at? He's still relatively the same player. The knock on him from when kd was there are still negatives for him. He's literally just speed, power and lay-ups/dunks. He's a point guard that ain't even that great at passing. Not saying he doesn't, I'm saying when he does the passes aren't on point
