Take a look at Russell Westbrook's NBA highlights. Thank you for watching. Please subscribe. Music: Puff Daddy & Jimmy Page - Come With Me (Instrumental)
Westbrook is the best athlete I've ever seen in any sport. Absolutely love how he just goes full fucking throttle all the time. To be able to finish a dunk like he does with so much body control, even when colliding with guys almost twice his weight is unreal. Lebron has made some sick dunks too but it's really rare that he throws it down using all his strength. It's much harder to be completely coordinated and accurate when you're going 100% compared to 80%. What I'm trying to say.. This dude can ball!
***** In my opinion he is the best athlete. He might be juicing, I really don't know and I really don't care to be honest. It's not his strength or size (stuff you get from juicing) that impresses me the most. It's his body control while going at 100%. It's really unmatched imo. I've played a sport at a pretty high level when I was younger and even though I've never juiced or anything of the sorts my temperament was way worse than westbrooks :P
Rose before the injury was not as exciting, he just played in a bigger market! Russ can get 40 or 50! And a triple double in the same game! Plus he dunks on big motherfuckers!
Westbrook can jump equally well from one-foot or two-feet. There are not many players who can do this. Dr. J was strictly a one-foot jumper. Dominque Wilkins was a two-foot jumper. Lebron is a one-foot jumper. Westbrook can get-up from the one-foot technique or the two-foot technique. Of course, Michael Jordan could do this also, the one-foot and two-foot. However, this is an exception. Most players are either one or the other, not both. Thus, Westbrook is special when going-to-the-hoop. Also, he has a great jumper, like MJ. This is another rarity, a player who can go hard to the rack and also pull-up consistently from 3 or mid-range.
+onesecondsquirt I would agree with PG. He can jump equally well from one or two feet. T Mac was a two foot jumper. Kobe a one foot jumper. Each could do it vice versa but they had a preference and a few good inches their preferred way of jumping. Will have to see how PG does after wicked right leg break/injury.
+Dimitry Raskolnikov not really that rare, I can jump equally well from both. two footed jumping takes a little more of a toll on my knees than one footed tho.
Have you ever seen Nate Robinson dunk? He won two or three dunk contest too. Not a great pg but easily a better dunker that anyone you mentioned. Iverson second best dunker for pg. Watch some RU-vid videos
Keith Kerrigan Allen iverson? You're a Dumbass and Nate Roberson..? Really nigga that dude can't lift off like Russell Westbrook and comparing someone by dunks and dunk contest championships is like comparing LeBron James to Jeff green.. Westbrook hasn't entered the dunk contest but he would absolutely dominate it
My 8 year old Daughter swears he's the best and showed me this youtube video as proof all she talks about is Westbrook this Westbrook that. Well after seeing her video of him it's hard to argue with her considering she wasn't here during the Jordan area. I'm very happy she has him as a athletic role model to look up too !
He's got a level if athleticism that is freaky to see on a basketball court. He's the guy you love on your team but hate to play. Got the most heart in the game. He's had multiple knee surgeries and still the most athletic. Up there with a Blake griffon but more IMO
yeah I know Russell Westbrook is 1 of my favorite basketball player and he's so good at going up and throwing tomahauks and so many\ awesome dunks man see ya .
Good video. Westrbrook is one of my favorite players because of his energy. I think you should splice in some more of his effort plays and cut out the dunking a little bit. While I know his dunks are pretty monster, especially for his size, to me the most impressive thing is how hard he plays. I love seeing him get his own rebound or dive for it out of bounds. Then he is always one of the first people back on defense.
Max Starn his job is to win, not to be a humble man. When youre the best basketball player in the world well its kind of a big deal. Shouldnt think a player is bad because of his personality (btw hes very humble) btw im not a lebron fan, KD35 baby
driftk9 okay lets be real LeBron is egotistical. He says he deserves to be on the Mount Rushmore continuously and acts cocky, although he does give others credit when it is due. I personally don't have a problem with a player being cocky, but to say LeBron is humble and not at all cocky is ridiculous.
for a split of second i thought this was put together by NBA.com crew or some professional editor. very intensive and well compiled. I love highlight reel like this. one of the best i have seen if not the best. thanks for sharing
MrSam 96 And Rose is soooooo much more than just an explosive guard? Come on, give me a break... Plus, Rose hasn't played for two years. You simply can't say he is the best PG in the league, it's just blasphemous towards Westbrook, Steph, and CP3
okay I agree that Rose hasn't played for 2 years but come on, he won the MVP which westbrook didn't get till now, but he is still on of the best point guards not the best, so is Rose.
everything will be back to normal, he just needs time, if you had an injury like his, you'll be as soft as he is or actually afraid to not get injured again.
If I had to choose players for Olympics Games, just for the fun seeing powerful and energic guys I'd put together: 5: Shaq 4: Garnett 3: Lebron 2: Vince Carter 1: Russell Westbrook They would destroy any defense it could be fun Too bad their prime were not at the same time...and too bad no one in nba asked me to choose. And sorry for my english, not my language
I've always said and known that not only is durant capable ( and already won an mvp) but westbrook is just as capable of winning a mvp award also...he's too damn good...I still think he's gonna win an mvp someday Imagine if harden was still on the team...that would be the scariest big three in the game...I hope they win at least 2 titles in okc...not only do they deserve it but they can be one of the greatest 1-2 punches in NBA history...up there with shaq kobe, MJ pippen, Lebron wade, west Baylor, Stockton Malone
Hell yeah.. K.D. coming back healthy and reminding everybody just who the fuck he is and Russ doing what Russ does also Serge gets better every year... Yeah, The NBA title will have a home here in Oklahoma City very soon.. THUNDER UP
The most athletic guard in basketball, with the best pull up jumper in basketball. If Westbrook played the 2 and didn't have to dribble so much, he wouldn't turn the ball over so much and he'd be in his natural position. Great scorer, good passer, terrific on ball defender... love this kid just as much as KD.
Great video...just wish you can found his come back song like....mark morrison's return of the mack but all in all he is one of the top ten players in the nba period
+Sir Savage Pebbles CP3 still the number 1 PG. Westbrook needs to develop a jumper, stop slacking on defense and implement some simple basketball IQ into his game ESPECIALLY IN THE CLUTCH WHERE HE JUST CHUCKS BRICKS.
***** i understand what you mean but when you are asked pick to build your team around the others does'nt have to be bad, curry is the best offensive player in the league hands down and he is a decent defender also he is mvp this year and last year and he is the best shooter of all, time i'm a clippers fan so it hurts to say that but altough he is'nt the best pg cuse it's cp3 he is the n1 pick of anyone that does'nt hate him and westbrook is a freak of nature but he is'nt better than curry he is more explosive and a better athlete and that's it
he is those kind of players who burnt all their energy and healthiness in their early career. It's not a bad thing, a lot of hall of fame players did the same.
If only OKC let him play off ball more. Not only is he a ridiculous slasher, but he has a solid post up game when he's hitting those turnaround jumpshots. And if they have a pure point guard to start the games out, then not only could they potentially get more offense with KD and Russ both being able to get into a rhythm, they also don't have the horrific offense of Thabo Sefalosha. Though Thabo's defense is pretty nice..
im a thunder fan and it amazes me how we had durant, westbrook, harden and ibaka having a breakout year and yet we still couldnt win a title... surely that has to be one of the most talented rosters ever? 3 players who are all well more than capable of averaging 25+ and/or winning a scoring title.
