To me, the most efficient season is 2016, but the most impressive one is 2017, but now he is playing more efficient than 2017 and shining much bright than 2016 this year, no doubt to say he is top 3 candidate of mvp race.

@Urban Neptune Go back and look at the games since December 11th, he came back from his finger injury and that enabled his midrange. that was all she wrote. He has been playing at this level since then. He has been shooting over 50% from the field since then. Like do you actually follow Russ career or you just repeat the stuff said on espn

As an OKC fan, I've been saying that Russ needed to stop taking so many 3 and just attack the rim or get in the paint and take high percentage shots. Of course we didn't have the shooters that Houston does, but it really makes you wonder what if. Glad he's more selective of which 3s he's taking now, dude hasn't taken more than 4 3s since January 15th.

It also has to do with coaching. Billy Donovan and Mike Dantoni are extremely different. I think Dantoni's overall offensive philosophy fits Westbrooks game better
