There's many non thunder fans that don't realize what Westbrook meant and still means to the team KD had to rely on Westbrook attacking the basket other wise he's trash the only time he was garbage was in the finals since then he's been top 5 players in the NBA and he will get MVP this season a lot of people don't realize that KD was robin and Westbrook was Batman just because ur drafted first doesn't mean ur batman without Westbrook KD wouldn't have had the accolades that he does now especially his MVP Westbrook is proving he don't need another star on the team to not only get MVP but take his team to the playoffs as top 5 team in the western conference

First of all KD was good his rookie lie season but he didn't start winning until Russ and harden got there and when Russ was hurt against the rockets in the playoffs KD played like shit against the grizz and we got put out by the grizz he's just not a #1 he can't carry a team by himself the way Russ does and u crazy if u think he's the 2nd best behind lebron Russ is way better obviously not as good of a shooter but in a game of 5 it's not all about shooting and with Russ having the 29th worst bench in the league and if they get to top 5 and he's still averaging a triple double at the end of the season guarantee he get MVP harden has a more talented team surrounding him where all he has to do is find the open guy to get an assist while Westbrook has to drive to the basket to get his if he had the shooters lebron and harden and KD have he would b averaging 18 assists guranteed watch some basketball look at our team stats bruh don't disrespect Russ like that he's not the one who jumped on a bandwagon 💯

Replace Russ with kd on the thunder and Kd would probably win mvp and he'd lead the team to the playoffs. He was "trash" in the playoffs vs grizzlies because he was getting double and triple teamed and got no help from his teamates. watch how Russell does in the playoffs. Most likely a 1st rd exit maybe 2nd if they get 5th seed and he's got adams kanter and oladipo unlike kd had. Kd was the better scorer, the better rebounder, better shot blocker, and the guy taking the last shot on Okc. He's the better player and im not disrespecting russ. I love his game. Most athletic pg ever, best current pg, and one of the fiercest competitors I've seen.
