Chris Broussard, Nick Wright and Kevin Wildes recap Denver Broncos QB Russell Wilson's play Thursday Night vs. the Indianapolis Colts. Broussard starts by defending Russell and explains that Russell is experiencing growing pains just like Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Tom Brady did when he transitioned teams. All WRs are under credited. QBs do not put the ball exactly where it needs to be, despite what analyst or people in the booth (who are mostly QBs so the bias is also evident). Many times they throw it to an area and hope the WR goes and gets the ball. Aaron Rodgers threw a deep ball last week that was really slightly under thrown and to the inside. And should have been thrown looping over the outside shoulder. But because the DB didn't look back the WR had to make a diving catch to his inside and came up with the completion. But of course the announcer says that Rodgers put the ball where only the receiver can get to it.

Nick said it, what’s wrong is Russ isn’t under Pete’s cover any longer. The system made him look good. He had great receivers that made him look good. He had a great defense that put him in good field position and let him not have to make as many points on offense. Russ, as other well known QBs have said, is not the guy to carry a team. He’s not that great, never has been.

If Russ wasn’t claiming multiple Super Bowls prior to the season, always talking about how all he does is win & how he’s such a winner when he missed the playoffs last year, documenting literally everything that he did during the off-season, having his camera crew with him at all times, always on social media, walking in the building with his wife & expecting to be treated a certain way & maybe if he didn’t leave Seattle in such a way where his past coach & teammates don’t like him MAYBE the criticism wouldn’t be as bad as it is. & also just playing well & not throwing pointless interceptions & reading his options at the goal line that would’ve helped too

Just on a note Nick said one of the worst trades in history which doesn't really pinpoint him to say was the "worst trade" in history which I would agree would be, because that would go to Minnesota Vikings in 1989 when they traded for Herschel Walker, and the cowboys reaped the reward of many super bowls. The Seahawks have not reaped anything yet but we'll see.

I like Wilson but I feel like there has always been more people on the side that he needs a defense and run game and just not turn the ball over and use his legs for 3 and short. Yes, those 3 Plays u "showed" us explained everything u said perfectly...😑. Y do these shows do that? Is it some sort of copyright issue or smt that they can't show the highlights? Skip n Shannon do that as well. Instead of showing the plays they talking about, they just show nicks or skips face watching them. It totally dimishes any argument they r making cuz we can't see what they r referring to...

@2times2is8 no, it has nothing to do with "exclusives". Fox has exclusive rights to SNF and ESPN to MNF (it was abc before that) On the televised live broadcast of this show you would see the clips, but on RU-vid it's cut out because of the NFLs copyrights to it's own content.

I think now is the time to buy high on the Broncos with them at their lowest if you do fantasy or sports betting. Try to get Sutton in fantasy or take the Broncos if they’re +7.5 or more. Give it a week or two tho before you start ‘em.
