Russian influence in Georgia: the 'foreign agents' law is trying to be introduced. Which allows to restrict human rights on the decision of the authorities. Georgia has 20% of its territory under Russian occupation and people have risen to the streets to protest against adopting a 'copy of the Russian law'.

The US signed such a law (called FARA) in 1948. EU has such laws for a good while. Russia signed such a law in 2012. Now Georgia wants more control over their media too. What's the problem?

I'm hoping the bill is defeated in parliament rather than the president having to veto it, as apart from sending a very clear message to the Kremlin it removes the risk of her "falling from a window" as a result of a visit from Putin's goons.
