If Russian shovels are so great, why does Russia produce more shovels than the rest of the world? It seems their shovels, like most of their civilian industrial output, is not very durable, and have to be replaced frequently.

Unfortunately Ukraine invited this war. The west encouraged it to pullout from the Minsk Agreement and confront Russia. It also rejected peace talks mediated by Turkey early on.

What, exactly, does promoting peace look like in this situation? Asking Ukraine to capitulate and forfeit land to an imperial power? As a lot of energy infrastructure was hit, there’s usually a 3/12/24 hour delay (depending on the situation) of images being allowed to be published online. Sometimes, for security reasons, no images are published at all - to prevent another russian strike.

😂 That's such a bad lie 😂 there was a moment where the was nearly an agreement of surrendering to a dictator, but once Ukraine were told they would be given the resources to try to defend themselves, they decided not to surrender. Peace deals are different to surrendering. Surrender has been the only official position Putin's has offered to date.

Today, Ukraine would give everything for the conditions to be at least the same as "when Ukraine surrendered."
