Russia held its parliamentary elections on 17-18-19 September, which crowned a success after a series of intrigues and intrigues, as the United Russia Party, which supports Vladimir Putin, won a two-thirds constitutional majority, but the remaining one-third of the seats were also won by pseudo-opposition groups.
This election gave us the opportunity to talk to the most knowledgeable expert (and a very articulate one at that), historian Zoltán Sz. Bíró, about Putin's unending power mania, his dwindling opponents, the increasingly sophisticated methods of electoral fraud - and then, broadening the horizon, about the shambles of the Russian economy and Russia's place in the world. But then there is also the analysis of whether Russia is still a great power, whether Russian cooperation with China is conceivable, what Putin's minimum aspirations are in relation to America, and whether the Russians need the kind of bridge that the Hungarian political leadership is offering, whether asked or not.
Be forewarned: in the interview you will discover many parallels between the thinking of the political leadership of Russia and Hungary!
And this time we have dared to go an hour and a half long because our July interview with national security analyst Péter Buda on where the world is heading was our second most watched interview to date, with 745,000 views so far (27 September)!
This interview is just as in-depth and wide-ranging.
