@@Spyderz-xo9rz yes, but personally, I don't see it as a good thing to take Russia and/or China to war simply for small nations like Taiwan or Ukraine. One million people died in Iraq because of a meaningless war started by Bush, and many more. The only reason that the US and EU would intervene for the Ukraine and Taiwan is for their own interest, not to save the sovereignty of the two countries. "Since Biden's call with Putin, Russia's kept the pressure up." Wait a minute, you're saying Biden's threat of...economic sanctions...didn't make much of an impact to Putin?!?
That is the limitation to U.S. power. They are reluctant to get into direct military confrontations with major powers like Russia and China. Even smaller powers like Iran. What do they do? Roll out the almighty threat of economic sanctions. Which don't amount to much from a strategic standpoint.
The former buffoon we had in the Oval Office drew a redline when Iran attacked the US base in Iraq and didn’t do sh*t. It was an empty threat after he said Iran would be met with force they have never seen before. All U.S Presidents do this at some point in their time office but you wanted to make it sound like he was weak cause you get your information from Fox News. You should’ve been wondering why Iran didn’t get a response from Trump after attacking a U.S base and still to this day hundreds of soldiers suffering brain trauma from that attack. Stop being a hypocrite and a moron and just know that the U.S foreign policy almost always has been the same no matter what party controlled the White-House.
Economic sanctions has been a effective weapon in capitalist world but for rogue nations, where government is run by the leaders that care less for its own people, economic sanctions is just strong words with no actual impact.
I can see y'all are really goofy lol and you don't know how to look into things deeper. What Biden is trying to do is follow the chain of command but in the same breath if you were truly listening to what he said that if Russia chooses to make this move is definitely not going to be good for them and there are going to be consequences so tough for them to have to face you're not getting the big picture.
