The Lada controls 7:27 are just like me 2007 Ford Fiesta 🙂but at least I have airbags ! It probably doesn't need a sun roof in Russia too, they can save money on that
To be fair, Europeans in general have some sort of masochistic appreciation of stickshifts. If you went to any car dealership anywhere in Europe (even in rich countries like Germany or the UK), you would probably find most models on display being stickshift versions. Automatic is deemed "uncool" and lazy, people seen to enjoy having to put in the needless effort to shift gears. Only "fancy", high-end cars like Mercedes' S-Class or Jaguar's XJ series tend to be mostly sold with automatic gearboxes. (Usually, once people have tried out Automatic transmissions, they refuse to go back to stickshifts, but unless this has happened to an individual most Europeans hold some sort of grudge against automatic gearboxes - I can see why to a certain degree, having experienced how awful a Smart Car automatic actually was; maybe the eco-boxes Europeans tend to drive just don't get decent automatics, and if you buy a car with low purchase & running cost being the top priority, having a stickshift will reduce the wear of certain parts like brakes). So in that regard, a German BMW dealership would likely have a similar share of stickshift vehicles on offer as the Russian Lada showrooms do. I'm not trying to defend Russia in any way, just thought this may be something viewers elsewhere might not know (especially in America, where stickshifts are kinda "exotic" and mostly seen on sports cars or private imports of old European cars never sold in America as far as I know).
I live in Canada, in 1994 i was going to buy a lada for $4000. When i went back to the dealership a month later they were gone. People were laughing at the quality. I just wanted a cheap car 😂
30:35... Fried pastry? 32:35... That's a light meter you use when you want to adjust the settings on old cameras to take photos. I still have the one I bought in the 60s. 😁 Does that make me a hoarder? 35:30... Creamy Soda. Full of sugar, watch your weight!!! 39:30... My German mum used to make a whole pot of small ones. That was one of the highlights of mum's cooking. I loved them with tomato sauce.
The main question is whether these cars are Russian or Chinese made? Russia should really revitalize the automotive industry, one of the weakest links in the industry. In the 60s and 70s they had really good GAZ cars.
I love the long vlog as well as Evalina looking like the hot KGB girl. I don't feel so bad about not being able to buy a Niva in my country. Sweet video man.
Thank you Ivan and Evelina for sharing your day! Enjoyed the Lada tour. I think I like your Escalade the best Ivan. The restaurant you ate in was nice. It felt like something out of an old movie. The food looked good. I would have tried the pierogies like Evelina. Evelina...again you remind me of a movie star. I love your hat's you wear. You wear them well! Very good video! Enjoyed seeing you both as I always do! Thank you Both! ❤❤❤😊
Thank you for your videos. You and evalina are mine and my 13 year old sons favorite you tubers. We are Russian and love being able to connect to those who are in Russia since we cannot travel their right now. Blessings to you guys and happy holidays
Hi Ivan good seeing you and Beautiful Evelina again today! Nice tour of the lada dealership place! I like your car better then those Lada’s don’t get rid of your car it’s made better then any Lada! I’m always watching you guys from Orlando Florida 😊
yeah i can tell those hvac controls are straight out of early 2000's GM partsbin.it's kinda nuts that your country doesn't require airbags in cars to be sold to the public. for $12-14k with tax probably would i buy a lada, maybe if i needed something economical to get around but that safety is still in the back of my mind
They sell a Lada crap in that store Ivan and all over priced ! I would buy 2 Ladas that have crashed and just build one ! Did you sell the apartment ? Wheres Eduard Ivan ? Thanks for the video guys !
Nice vlog, Ivan. You still seem a bit down. I hope you feel better soon. You did a great job on the Lada reviews. The restaurant was really a neat place. I enjoyed this vlog. Less mayhem! 😅 As usual Evelina was beautiful, love the hat.
Hello Ivan; Today 19 Dec 23, watching your life vlog you mentioned that many subscribers have unsubscribed. I have a connection to your vlog on several computers and several televisions using Amazon Firestick. All connected devices have shown an active subscription to your “Sanctioned Ivan” vlog. When I clicked on the channel icon, there I was shown as unsubscribed. It appears the problem could be with the Amazon Firestick due to their continuous software changes/updates that unknowingly may be unsubscribing the user. Perhaps you could ask your subscribers who were unsubscribed what devices they use PCs or TVs and report the issue to the appropriate provider.
Do you know air bags can kill infants and children? If you knew this then you would realize you have the best cars for family with kids. Safety first. Protect infants.😂
Great video. Found it really interesting, especially the inside of the Soviet era restaurant with all the memorabilia. Lack of airbags in cars due to chip shortage following sanctions.
A great video and really interesting, cars and food! I don't think I'll be buying a Lada anytime soon though after seeing how cheaply and badly made they are. I hope none of the two-child Mothers who get their certificate money buy one eventually either. Far too dangerous to put children in, but that's all you could fit in the back seats, tiny people! The food looked delicious. I hope you are feeling much better, Ivan. Evelina looked fabulous, as usual.
I would not buy one of those Lada's, I would much rather buy an older (Советской постройки - Soviet-built) one, all fixed up, they run forever. But if they do break down, there are always the 24 hour Lada parts places all over the place. Awesome Soviet restaurant, the food looked delicious, but the cheburek could have had more meat. Awesome guitars, I would love to fix one up and play some (Советская музыка - Soviet Music). The old Soviet stuff they have the is so cool!
Ivan, Look at the bright side you found a place for some sport seats for your Lada, and maybe some parts. I'm with you your Lada seems to be made a bit better.
15000 US dollars would be a great price for a car, even if it is rather basic. But I realize that Russians have a lower yearly income on average than in some countries. I noticed that there is a panel right above the glove box that is where the passenger airbag could be, if it were equipped with one. I would say that the instrument panel plastic is the worst feature. You would have difficulty seeing anything inside it. I actually like the styling. Some Japanese cars look really goofy these days.
BC,Canadian right here... growing up i remember seeing plenty of Ladas but more so the SUV (mini jeep) pretty sure my one buddy had a car. Your better off buying a quad lol. The older ones im sure are alot better to work on. Stay safe. PS where is Edward?
I believe they don't have inertia seatbelts or side impact bags & wouldn't pass eu impact protection or emission requirements.Seems odd a 2023 lada is a death trap & 95' lada without a roll cage isn't!!!!!!!!!
I would not pay that $$$$$ for those cars The last one u looked at for 23 Mine was cheaper than that here with all the bells and whistles. Those cars looked cheap
Since your Lada was made in 1994, it’s a Russian Lada rather than a Soviet Lada. Did you know that there is a Russian hockey team named Lada Togliatti? Avtovaz is headquartered in Togliatti and is the primary sponsor of the team. Soviet/Russian limonade is awesome.
Great video. I like Lada. Until your video was not familiar with them. Did they ever sell in USA? Your interest rates high but here in US all interest rates also high. Car less expensive .
Great video Ivan. Very informative and you make me laugh. Do Russians use car seats for their children? I love lemonade too, but I have never had it mixed with cream soada.
Great restaurant!! And nice video! Evelina just looks great! 🔥❤(and that's what a woman says😉). We say in Germany " carry your girlfriend every day on your hands" - hope that happens once a week in your life Ivan!😅😍
