Today we head to Kuori Lake and cover the basic setups we need to Troll and Burbot fish!
Russian Fishing 4 is a fishing simulator with RPG elements. There is no story line and the whole process is based on the concept of an open, free to roam and free to play game.

I can still say with confidence that the Hunter 1-002 spoon is still a great choice at Khouri. I am new to the game and I realize things have changed, but I have had great luck with that spoon and it's thanks to your video that I tried it.

Yeah the hunters are always good on lakes where you don't know if fish are biting or not. Best thing to do is throw a few of those out and see if you catch anything. Then try to figure out what the fish are biting on more.

Was very helpful! I did have one question -- and I'm sure if I did a little investigating in the game I may be able to find it... but! Where are you getting the information regarding the mechanical weight of the reels? I'll check out your rod/reel setup video and maybe that will give some info as well! Take care!

You're welcome. I'm not sure how relevant this video is anymore though since Kuori just had an update and changed it's look and fish sizes. I'll be doing another video soon testing if the setups I mention in this video are still good or not.

I'm using the express heavies and suggested reels for trolling and they feel pretty solid. Look forward to an update especially around lures!

@@stephenpearce4561 Yeah I was thinking of trying out the express fishing pride reels and the adriadicas to see if they're still viable. I don't think they are though. Thanks for the heads on on the Saber 60s though It'll help me confidently suggest them again.

Thanks great vid.. when you said at the end between the hrs of 1900-2200ish about the bigger fish come out, its the same at Belaya when spin fishing.. same time roughly those monsters come out there as well. Wonder if its now on all maps!

I would not recommend to buy the sabre 6000 / pulsar 6000. It is an unnecessary intermediate step. Save up and buy the HSV 8000 or Alpha 8000. You will have and use them until high levels. (my opinion). Nice content nevertheless :-) keep it up.

Omg dude, was just following your Leader guide making your own 17.4kg. 10min Fishing in north west part and a HUGE pike took my bate and after few minute of reeling it bite throu it.... i guess time to upgrade to 25 haha

Upgrade to 28kg leader. Nothing can bite through those and you wont have to worry about it.

So based on kilted jock Pulsar 6000 doesn't have max drag 26.6 kg like Proton Pro 6000 anymore ? After 2022 update.

Pulsar is a carbon copy of Proton Pro with a different look. They are the same in every way. Kilted jock just hasn't put the pulsars mech weight in the table yet. More than likely he just hasn't tested the mech weight officially yet. However I have.

So the braided lines destroying your reels is an urban myth?

No braided lines do actually do the most damage. However people who are anal about reel damage make it sound like braided lines are demons that destroy your reel in seconds. Yes, braided lines do the most damage but you can fish for real life days, even weeks with them before you have to repair your brake. As for the rest of the components on the reel, you can fish for months before you have to repair them. Fact is, if you're fishing for fish that are close to or over your setups capacity you should use braided lines. This will allow you to have enough line capacity to stop the fish and bring it in before you get spooled. About 90% of my setups use braided line. I only use fluro carbon when I float fish for small fish and I only use mono when I troll cause I can chase the fish and not get spooled.

Honestly I don't know. Usually when I go to Kuori lake, or any lake, I just look at the records and see what people were using for the fish there. usually for Kuori I look for Rainbow trout wobblers.

Kuori is very hit or miss for me. Some days I get 200 silver and break records with 8-9kg Kuori/Arctic char, other days I get 20 silver from a couple perch.

@@midnightgamingwithmysticni947 do you reccomend specializing between spinning and bottom fishing? Like, is it more economic to grind a specific kind and max out those skills or should I keep both balanced? Right now I'm at level 18 but bear lake is dead so I'm back at kuori, grinding towards level 20 (volkhov) and I can't decide if I should invest into a second spinning rod + reel (conventional reel maybe?) or a carp rod.

@@arbiter5087 From what I've seen so far you can specialize in 2 out of the 3 types of fishing and get most of the skill points into the skills you want in both. Specializing in one type of fishing usually means when every lake that has that type of fishing is dead, you can't jump over to another type of fishing to make up for it. When you get to volk you'll do a massive amount of trolling to earn money. However when you get to Amber you could do a massive amount of carp fishing. Volk will open up first so I'd make sure to get two Spinner setups for trolling. If you decide to go with two HSV reels or two Narga reels you could use those at Amber as well and all you'd have to do is buy the carp rods. Unless you've already got feeder rods that are around 30kg then you could just use those.

Sure I'll see if I can get to it. What would you like me to cover, the new fish or the larger size of the lake? Other than that I haven't really found anything different about the map. I might be missing something though.

@@midnightgamingwithmysticni947 that would be great, also alot of the wobblers have fallen to the akielas particuarly to the 4-003 and the 4-004, today in 30 min i caught 2 4kg+ rainbow trout on the akielas (i cant remember how the spell it) trolling from the cords 86:96 to 124:112 and just doing a u turn at the end of the line and following the line back, also in the new update the skidish fish (greyling, all the trout and char), need alot more distance from the trolling boat to bite other wise its just perch, hope this helps, love your vids :)

@@darcybettenay_mtb Ok that sounds simply like a hot spot video that goes over the most recent active lures. I don't do those because they are out of date as soon as the hot spots and lures change. So if I were to do one it would have to be about changes to the mechanics of the lake that affect the overall game play, not hot spots or the current hot lures. There really hasn't been any changes to the lake that have changed it so much it would affect any of the old information from the original video.

then if Proton pro 6000 and Pulsar are just the same why the price is so diferent , Pulsar is around 1.200 silver and Proton is around 600 , double , what i have to do , buy to buy Proton or Pulsar? thx

Proton pro 6000 is discontinued (can't buy anymore). Proton 6000 is 600 silver. Pulsar is better than Proton 6000. Sabre 60s is better than Proton 6000. Buy either Pulsar or Sabre 60s

If you're bream fishing with a feeder rod yes absolutely. If you're trolling or fishing for burbot at night it might be a little more difficult. When trolling you'd probably be ok for a while but eventually you'll hook into something big you'll have to chase around the lake to get it. Try it and let me know how it goes.

hey i watched whole video , you say first time that if is hot the fish will go in deep wholes 3:38 , and second time for burbot you say if is hot the burbot will move from 10 meters wholt to shallow 17:58 , so how it is ? u bit confused me thx:D

Cold, they move out of the holes into more shallow water where it's warm. Hot, they move into deeper water where its cold.

@@midnightgamingwithmysticni947 , X-Minnow F50-04 2g is in fire , i get 500+ silver with 2x rods trolling in kuori ... don't be affraid if is only 2 grame weigth , is realy hot!!!! i hot a 9kg 450gr Lake Throut with that lure. You get alllot of non marker fishs for fish meat bait also...

@@emyemil5862 That is usually the problem with smaller lures on Kuori Lake, they bring in a lot of non markers. People usually like to use larger lures to constantly pull in marker fish that get them more silver per hour. Thanks for the heads up on the X-Minnow I may have to try it.

@@midnightgamingwithmysticni947 Form me using this lure now is ok because i have only 1 Rig with Pulsar Reel and i use Hijacker wobler , another very active lure for markers, second rig i have a proton 6000 and fish bigger than 2kg is a big fight and a waste of time , so i am ok for now to grind little fish and grind for fish meat , and to not lose hours of fight with a fish.

@@27Meatwod That is what I'd like to know. I do know he has quite a few people buying reels and putting different weight lines on and testing the reels breaking point. I also believe a few dev posts have mentioned a few reels on the forums. Other than that I have no idea where he gets them. I can say they are correct however since I've used his numbers a lot and never had a reel break when it shouldn't have.

Most of the time yes leader should be less than line. Unless you're fishing in an area where there are big pike, then your leader needs to be very thick and is usually larger than your line so pike can't bite through it.
