The assumption that the USA would use the latin alphabet for a label written in Ukrainian is what is actually most telling. Never assume that a huge global power with hundreds of millions of inhabitants from all over the world is incapable of something like printing a label in Ukrainian Cyrillic. You don't need to know anything about the history of Unicode, Adobe, Microsoft, Apple, and PDF in order to safely assume the USA would somehow, in some way, probably be able to print a label in Ukrainian language using the Ukrainian Cyrillic alphabet, including Ґ, І, Ї, and Є. Look, these letters somehow even magically worked in a youtube comment 😱 Next you'll tell me that there's people in Greece who can use chopsticks *and* use only a fork for eating long spaghetti.
