Alexei Navalny, a fierce critic of Vladimir Putin, has died in a Russian prison. Navalny spent years speaking out against official corruption and survived being poisoned by a military nerve agent during a business trip to Russia in 2020. Today President Biden said he had "no doubt that the death of Navalny was the consequence of something that Putin and his thugs did.” NBC News' Richard Engel reports.

The CIA and other US intelligence agencies have determined that the Russian authorities weren’t involved in the death of opposition figure Alexey Navalny, the Wall Street Journal has reported, citing people familiar with the matter. Navalny, who had been serving a lengthy prison sentence stemming from his violations of the terms of a previous fraud conviction and his “extremist activities,” died at a penal colony in Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Region in northern Russia on February 16.

Its a sad situation. But there's a reporter that died in Ukraine custody. Their both wrong. So cover both. Sometimes theirs no good guys. Navalny is in prison not because he is the leader of the opposition. For example, the leader of the Communist Party is also the leader of the opposition, but he is not in prison. Navalny was in prison for theft of timber on an especially large scale.

I have a question. What did Navalny do for Russia other than being the opposition and constantly visiting US and UK? As of now, we all know US doesn't give a thing about even gen-oc-ide. Why US cares so much about Russian politics and its internal affairs? Even if Putin killed Navalny, why is it your problem? Why are you judging other countries? Who gave you this right? You should focus on your country. Russian economy is doing better than G7 countries. I think Putin is doing a great job, again, Russian economy is doing better than G7 countries
