Fully agree! There is lots of crap just here on RU-vid. You can see videos about how great the US economy is doing and how it is going to crash and burn right next to each other, for example. You can also see videos about how Ukraine has destroyed the Russian army and how the Ukrainians are definitely going to lose. There are many, many other juxtapositions. All that is fine. Different people have their own motives. Some are actual believers. Others are more sinister. The best thing for all of us to know what the range of opinions is. The Internet also comes into play here, with the ability to check various sources and draw one's own conclusions.
To protect the society from things like iodine deficiency and lead poisoning is a positive thing, for instance. When a government abuses the need to protect people and it gets into things like the territory of ideas, free thought, personal choice of lifestyle then it becomes much more nefarious.
