To anyone wondering or seeing idiotic comments saying "nothing changed cause he died during war", thats totally wrong. This man is Pavel Filatyev. He was a russian soldier in the Ukraine war but just couldn't do it anymore. He wrote a detailed dad by day story of all that he saw and what was going on. He decided he didnt want to do it anymore and just didnt feel right about the entire war. So he left the military and planned to flee the country. He spent time on tv and interviews saying why hes doing what hes doing and spent weeks switching hotels so no one could track him. He didnt want to leave Russia cause thats his home, his country but hes so against the war. And being against it will get you arrested if not worse. But he escaped one night and the military commanders did a interview saying he escaped before his arrest. So bro's out there living his best life

This guy is still alive. Google his full name, he is a retired VDV paratrooper. He surrendered to the AFU in battle, then brought back to Russia after a prisoner exchange, and he moved to France, where he wrote a book called, ‘ZOV’.

A cause is the entire purpose of why war crimes happen? Ww2, Iraq, Korea, Afghanistan, Ww1, The bush wars, the African post colonialist uprisings (not to mention Rwanda)… and lastly I’ll name the Yugoslav wars 1991-2001. That man on the picure is named Pavel Filatjev. He was one of the soliders of deserted and went to Paris in exile. He has a history degree and worked on a farm. He did service in the VDV(Airforce of Russia) He wrote a book called ZOV.
VDV(air paratrooper forces, i just know orkish so i guessed what that means) are russian paratroopers but they are not used as paratroopers by russia anymore.
Jeez, I'm not sure if you guys are even aware, but the VDV was practically wiped out when their assault into Kyiv failed at the start of their invasion of Ukraine.

Many Russian and Ukrainian soldiers are now dead but this one is still alive and well. He lives in Paris and has been on French TV giving his accounts of the war. Pável Filatyev is his name and he's a ex-Russian Paratrooper.
i agree, and this is a stupid video, but while i dont think all russian soldiers are bad, most even thought they were gonna do training on the ukraine border, i will say i this video was using isis, al qaeda or taliban fighters instead of russians, it would be a bit different.
In case you guys are wondering - this guy's name is Pavel Filatiev, he was actually a whistleblower for Russian army, who wrote a book about his experience in the first months of the war. He turned out to be quite a huge scum afterwards
