@@Yoi-n5k yes in my country too this would look ordinary in terms of the suburb/houses, just with a little poor taste in design perhaps. However, only the filthy richest people would have a Bentley where I'm from.
Most of the Europeans and Russians who are very rich, they don’t show their houses. They can show their expensive cars on the streets (of course its a car) But the more money they have, the less you are gonna know about them and their houses. These ones in the video are people who live little bit above average or they are kids from Rich families.

Love seeing the townhouses. Not sure if this is where rich Russian lives, probably those that are definitely above average. I expect the rich to live in their private homes and expensive cars.
kiDkiDkiD12 ooooh yeah! In Romania gypsies and rich people loves to do that too! I saw in my city Satu Mare 8 gypsie castles that have more gold on them than Napoleons Bonaparte castle!
@@RussianPlus the fact that this is not a rich area, but above average. I do not mean the oligarchs. The young live in private houses and do not ride a toyota.
Not to mention, American suburbs don’t look so cluttered with fencing and the grass and grounds are more maintained. (well newer middle class suburbs, old suburbs/ghettos maybe not so much)
The neighborhood is Karasyeozyorskoye-2 a suburb of the city of Yekaterinburg. It is not rich by any objective standard, more like middle to upper-middle class. If is misleading to say home costs are $50k-250k. It mostly starts at $250k+. As for the rich there are rich neighborhoods nearby namely Galaktika and Palniks.
ohlala... it even more expensive... Btw, do you know how much the average employment sallary there? curios to know how many years required for saving or applying mortgage there thanks
With my salary around $4000 ( that’s clear far above average, however, it’s not the highest salary either) I took a mortgage for 320 m2 house ( 1/2 of the price) paid it in 7 years. Now it’s out of mortgage for more than 5 years.

Very pretty neighborhood. I would like to see inside. No matter what part of the world you're from people want the same things, a comfortable place to live, enough to eat and someone to love.
so strange... if you walk in Moscow or Saint Petersburg you will see more rich people and sportcars) and russian rich people live in personal castle or in London))
I hope not. It's a blessing most people in the Netherlands live together in towns or cities on high density mixed use land. Moreover, it's not good to always hide away in cars. I love that I can bike to so many locations just in 10 minutes. A bigger yard/house and more distance to the underclass is not of much benefit to a typical human.
If you think most of Europe is more affordable than Moscow for housing then you will be dissapointed. Most large European cities like Munich Paris or Stockholm are double the price per sqm, London it's triple. Moscow is ranked 34th for price per sqm comparable to Madrid in Spain or Florence in Italy. That's not a bad thing!
I'm from Taiwan,I think the living quality of these houses is very good, and the price of these houses is much lower than it in Taiwan. We have to pay pretty much money if we want to get a simple house in Taiwan, so most of us will choose to rent a house.
Really you don't have any idea how rich Russians live!!! They ever never show their houses and car in street, this is just a model like Americans. But they live in замок , and you can't see that only if they invite you inside.
Yacine lazi I know. Still, important to have a townhome for Community. I "go crazy" at my own family's big ass houses out of loneliness and myself, love always having a home where you know there is life of others taking place. People will always be our greatest "assets and wealth."

Hey, I have a question. In quite a few years, like 7-8 I’m thinking about moving to Moscow from Pennsylvania. I would like to live in the suburbs possibly so which part in relation to the city is generally ideal? I was thinking north west of the city center would be a possible location but I really don’t where I can find something nice. I want to live in a community that isn’t super rich like Бугатти as they say but moderately wealthy like a house worth maybe USD 600-900K. I don’t even know where to start looking at all.
I enjoyed the video and I would like to see more on homes and suburbs of your city. I am use to Moscow but traffic there has gotten a bit much for me, so your videos gives insight into other areas.
I live in Russia and I can say that they are quite rich by our standards. Most people live in Soviet-built homes in cities, some in new high-rise condos. The average salary in the Russian Federation is about 40 thousand rubles (~ $ 620), but in fact the majority (except Moscow) have a salary of $ 500 or less. In my city a one-room apartment costs $ 50-60k, and in such a townhouse there is $ 100-150k
Wow, Slava! It looks to me like the Russian people are finally becoming more prosperous! That's a good thing! Those neighborhoods look a LOT like many here in the US. And the prices are not too much less than here either! So there must be a lot of good-paying jobs in the city?
From what I see it is a neighborhood of normal Russian middle class people because if they were really rich Russians they would live in their mega ranches of 10,000 square km isolated from any civilization or city but with all the comforts, pleasures and luxuries at their fingertips with dozens of mayodomos from highly restricted areas or within "natural biosphere reserves" to cover up their homes.
@@MH-df6zx It can only exist because of cars. Therefore walking and cycling are discouraged, which is especially bad for kids. Also an increased divide between people, and underclass will always exist and they are entirely pushed out of those kind of suburbs. But most of all they try to reinvent the wheel for the second time. There is a near infinite number of villages and cities in Europe that have organically evolved over hundreds of years to best suit human interaction. Suburbs are mostly an insult and opposite to that. I hate to say this, but there are many more reasons to find on google.
i5 4670k Dude why should others go without simply because someone else doesnt have, thats stupid. Thats like telling albert Einstein not to be smart simply because there are so many people who are not. Get out of here with that craziness.
@@andreanacalhoun9454 You will find that many of these indoctrinated robots are on the internet. I can bet my life that, they are not willing to give up their comforts for anyone else. I was surprised. The only thing I knew about Russia has people living in grim, gray Soviet style high rise apartment blocks with broken elevators. Guess I am a child of the Cold War.
Many people in the US live in project houses too but that doesnt mean all Americans live like this. But if someone would like to show the worst side of the US he would show only those houses. Speaks much about Western msm.
Всё было по-настоящему серо в 90-е, при Ельцине. В СССР типовое жилье старались хоть как-то украсить (плиткой, орнаментом, хотя бы покраской). Ну а теперь даже слишком много пестроты, иногда перебор, по-моему.
I have visited St Petersburg in 2019 and astonishing how many new high rise apartment complexes where build there in the past 7 years. but to my surprise not so many urban houses, while Russia has so much space available.
Like other places in Eastern Europe, these are homes for people with better jobs. Not rich but maybe managers, small business owners, well paid professionals. An ordinary Russian doesn't not drive new Lexus SUV or Bentley.
Nice video but thats not really how the upper class lives in Russia. They live in large private houses and dont drive Toyota. The townhouses shown is there upper middle class lives. High paid professionals and small business owners. And to live in those three or four-storey apartment buildings in the video can be afforded by many Russians. I actually have a second summer apartment in such community outside of Saint-Petersburg (I use it as some substitute for dacha which I dont have). The price of that apartment was like 25% lower than the same size apartment in the city itself.
Hello, you have opened Russia for me. I can't wait to go. I am reading the book about Chernobyl I have so much appreciation for the Russian people because of your channel
Thanks.. I like to walk neighborhoods. So I was disappointed when I wanted to do that in Russia. Either the neighborhoods were gated or had big fences. I always wondered why that is. Never got a good answer. Privacy or security or culture?
The prices mentioned are fairly low. Very low on the low end & just touching high on the top end. Im looking at it from a foreigners view point so these rates might be still expensive in Russia.
Almost all suburbs from the TITO's ages look's like this one just go to Zagreb, Beograd, Podgorica, Sarajevo or Ljubljana, Greets from Bosnia and Herzegovina
hahahahaa... nice joke. Almost all suburbs looked like shit. Even now you cannot find suburbs like this in any of those cities. Can i see pictures of those suburbs please. Please don't even try to send pictures of those houses that rich arabs build in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Lame lies !
So just because there is an expensive car on your driveway and decent looking townhouse makes you rich...I guess each country is different when it comes to wealth. In Canada a lot of people live in a house/townhouse and it's pretty normal. You are only considered rich if you paid off your house and own the car...just my two cents...very nice video.
$50,000 is affordable to any body, in London such houses will cost your arm and leg. By the way, the title is not rich russians live but russians with regular income and have car due to it location.
It is well kept to say the least. It is weird that they live on a $250K house but some of them drive Bentley and Porches that are well above that. BTW if we were comparing to US/Canada this would look like more middle class. Upper class would not be caught dead in a place like that. They have serious mansions (i.e. Roman Abramovich's house in Long Island NY that costs US $140 million)
The creator of this exaggerated, the apartment and townhouses are middle class at best. The thing is, in the place where he recorded this there are two areas, "Karas'yeozerskiy" which is where the real rich live and they live in these little mansions: i.simpalsmedia.com/forum.md/comments/900x900/9b625841bbb34320bc83ad4d8eca9755.jpg And then there is the "Karas'yeozerskiy-2" which is where he recorded the video and where the cheaper townhouses and apartments are located and look like this: www.e1.ru/news/images/new1/413/671/big/2.JPG, but they're much cheaper than the mansions, this guy entered this place recorded only townhouses and claimed it was for the rich. In Yekaterinburg itself there is a place called "KP Palniks" which is where the the real rich people of Yekaterinburg live in, here is a video of the place in case you're interested: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_dr4D5_d5mM.html Now Moscow is filled with mansions similar to the ones from "KP Palniks", you can find these neighborhoods in every major Russian city but Moscow has an entire region dedicated to this type of mansion, it's like a city for the rich much bigger than the small rich districts found in Yekaterinburg.
I've lived in Russia for 3 years and I learned that only a simple 1-2 bedroom apartment (no decoration) ) is already expensive for the average salary. While in my home country, I could have a single house with a small plot of land and 5 minutes to Metro just the same money.
Yes, since 2010 all new construction projects in Russia must have underground wiring and piping now. It's obligatory standards, but this also makes them more expensive of course.
Considering that architectural design is very frugal minded I am surprised that the aesthetics of these communes are not much of a stretch from larger apartments.
Hello from indonesia in indonesia rich people live in very very big estate/mansion. this house in video is for middle class with price range in indonesia is about 60.000-400.000 compare to mansion is about 1.000.000-100.000.000 dollars
How is 50k-200k expensive? In America that's dirt cheap for a house. Also are those really suburbs? They are all duplexes and quadplexes not really traditional stand alone suburbia.
It's cheap because it's outside the city. These communities are usually mixed, 50% of it is usually apartments, 25% are the condos and 25% are single houses and the prices increase accordingly, single houses are the most expensive of course. Russian people like walking around, so living outside the city is not seen positively, specially during winter when the roads turn into skiing lanes. Rich people of Ekaterinburg live in suburbs such as this one for example: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_dr4D5_d5mM.html This look wealthy too: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9NyWklRrAbI.html These brick houses are the most common type of houses that you will find all over Russia: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cqYY14cMo0A.html More humble versions are usually simpler and smaller like this: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2ZJSD5gsp14.html
it looks like any other town in germany or Czech. so what? many towns are gated and where i live in Prague. prices start at 700,000 USD for villas and 175, 000 usd for apartments. real estate is expensive, everywhere.
50K-200K for these places? OMG thats dirt cheap. Come to San Jose California and a old crappy 1000sqft 3bed 1bath house is over 1M dollars. Up middle class is relative.
$50,000 USD for a House? That's cheap bro for Gated community is cheap since security, gabbage and water is shared making it cheaper. A 3or 4 Bedroomed house in a gated community going for $200,000 is very cheap.
Townhouses are usually small, but they look nice and tacky inside: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-r8ARY7igsmI.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JZeJNbVabRE.html And hey, we like it tacky.
Ahahahah LOL. As a Russian, in 20 years of my life, I see such expensive and beautiful houses here for the first time))) And this is definitely not the middle class
So what are the typical occupations of people who live in a community like this? I read that even doctors in Russia make less than $1000 per month, so it's probably not them.
