Brazil is a growth region with increasing viewership. Other small regions and somehow also LCS are shrinking. Maybe that should earn them an international spot? Let's just hope they can elevate the failing LCS and not the other way around. I do agree that from a sports perspective it does not make sense to give Brazil a guarantied international spot. But then again franchising is not about sport. It's about money and on that front they are improving where LCS is not. Then again Americans are a much more valuable potential audience.
international spots are based on performance, not on size. giving brazil a guaranteed because of simply viewership is bad. Now, giving them a guaranteed spot because every region should get at least one is fine.

Ttrying to make it in the LCS scene just got even harder. We already had veterans like Licorice, who was coming off an amazing split, couldn't get a team in Spring. He's not even the first. It happened to Jensen, and it even happened to SSumday. Now imagine that's you Vulcan. You've kinda been in a slump these past few splits, what if this one goes bad? You're never making it back into LCS. That's not me being mean, that's just the reality of it. Like dude, we lost 3 LCS teams and 8 NACL teams. That's 55 less paid players, or in other terms 6 more supports eager for a starting spot on a roster. And mind you, you're also competing with LATM players for spot now too. You got fucked bro. You're competing with even more players for even less spots. Brazil isn't excited, dude you shouldn't be excited. You should be angry.
