I got hella loot for a beginner in Harbour and was going to go to one of the better monuments when two guys come along and dick me in the ass. Found them later in the gas station and tried to be friendly. Got shot lol

#1 tip I can give anyone starting out is don’t be afraid to loose good loot by using it because if you don’t use it you’ll never get good with it

I also have quite a good but lucky mthod. If you see an airdrop, put all ur stuff away and try and take it, since u dont have anything to lose anyway. I had this game for 1 week and i got 3 guns and 2 c4 from it

@@marksaez1546 Lol it was made for Ps4 and Xbox, the fact that it requires a more powerful machine than the one it was designed for shows it's poorly optimized for base consoles.

If you can find a gun that’s very low durability or even broken you might be able to research it and then craft it but some guns you can’t research

I hit up the light tower first where I can usually find low grade fuel. Not too much further away you should be able to find a boat. Fuel the boat to roam the furthest edges of the map and open the floating crates. Almost 99% of the time uncontested.

You don’t even need at least 1 gun to start crafting them...just use workbench and learn all bps up until the gun bp. You can then learn that specific item with scrap...other than that good guide. I personally have about 1000 hours on pc, good luck!

Done dome 13 times not a single gun go see 2 crates down the bottom and found a revolver and the other was a DB but the db was useless as a very nice and I mean nice duo seen me as a little scared naked as I tried to hide from them they seen me and gave me a full set of wooden armour which isn’t too great but after gave me a full dura DB shotgun with 2 bullets in the mag and 5 shells and helped me get to outpost safely. Later that day I was in the outpost researching stuff and I seen them again gave me 3k rocks and 2k wood that they had extra iv choose to move near them as they are the only people with full road Sign armour who didn’t kill me and make fun of me in game chat before reviving me then killing straight away.

You could make teams in game, I’m not sure about console but on pc you just invite a specific player on the same server to your team, the name of that player will then be highlighted in green so you know it is your teammate.

Plane drops a supply crate, Chinook drops a locked crate (and will shoot you if you are near it, but it's aim is bad) and the attack heli will roam the map and attack anyone that has weapons in their hotbar or 3+ items of clothing on

Researching and then crafting it is generally going to be your best way of keeping up a good supply. Mine and cook sulphur to make gunpowder and then craft em up. Or steal it off of other players.

Yup game in a nutshell, either disconnect and get looted or freeze and get killed, or just get 5 fps every fight. Tbh was so psyched for console launch but it is literally got worse every beta till iow, the official launch...like wtf. Also we pay 3x the price as of...cool right

A big clan base shot down attack heli outside of their base so me and my friends went over and one of my friends got 3 AKs but instead of depoing he got greedy and then ended up dieing and then blamed it on me and my other friend for not protecting him. Edit: He just told me last night that i have to get a row of workbench 2+ guns by the end of today because he said try to do what he can although he has never done it what do i do, has to be from pvp

I think they did it on purpose to keep players from being endgame hostile for when the base players join on the 20th. Wouldn't make much sense, bc I gotta hella gp waiting to be made. So maybe it really it bugged

Go to the outpost and gamble scrap that’s and always bet on 1. Me and my buddy walked in with 50 scrap each a few days ago and when we left we had like 1500 scrap total after we were done. We are tryna get the level 3 workbench lol such a grind

In rust imo there’s nothing better than being a solo and looking into a large box of guns in your base especially if there’s an ak in it. Doesn’t happen often for me

Or just learn blueprints and make your own guns 💪🏻 I’m solo atm and have my bro jumping on every now and then, I’ve built a massive full metal and high quality base, garage doors on ever single entrance (like 10 garage doors to my TC, with 3 layers of stone exterior walls with traps in between each one and metal gates with building block each side, traps all inside the base too 🙂 Doing very well on my own !! Until I get raided :( yet it will be fairly hard, time consuming and very expensive to raid my base. Might add a 4th layer 🤔 3rd layer cost me 50,000 stone lol 🙂 If you raid me, enjoy my TC because it’s jam packed with juicy loot haha
