Thank you very much for making a video explaining how to make this circuit to this poor noob. I've tried it and it works perfectly. When I make the video of the house trap I will put you in the description so that everyone learns in this channel. Do not have Twitter or any way to talk to you to collaborate in a trap? Once again many thanks for all Rabid Rabbit.
Just found this video today and it works perfectly. Unfortunately I built a trap base in the most desolate area of the map so I haven’t had any luck yet. Will try again tomorrow thanks again!
Love videos mate. How would you set up a trap base where if they enter and door closes they decide to die or you kill them. But to have the door auto reset open when it detects no one is in the room where the trigger detects them? Can you do a video and explain it please buddy?
Is there a way to do this where the door remains closed, but it opens and can't close once you trigger it? I've been pulling my hair out for hours trying to do this.
Certainly, just connect the door to the other output so that it is closed by default and the trigger that changed state on the memory cell then opens the door and it will stay open.
good video. ive been trying to figure out a way to have the same circuit trigger another door. so this helps. how much power would you need to run this consistently? batteries/solar panels ect.
You can use a blocker, but that is only a momentary action while the pressure pad or laser is triggered, so it's easy for the attacker to 'defeat' by getting away from the trigger. The joy of the memory cell is that it changes state until you reset it and truly traps them in!
@@RabidRabbitGamer I see bro.... I tried it with two switches one other switch connected to the main one with the pressure pad and door controller. So when the pressure pad is triggered it hits the turn off switch and then I have to reset everytime. But the door stays closed if that makes any sense
@Rabid Rabbit I didn't have luck with the timer bro. I did the blocker to the switch so basic shit. But getting there slowly. Why did they move the other part to t2 bro? Also the tesla
me and a friend love that setup for most of our traps. But when we r aways the trap wont reset. Where and how in this circuit can we put a self-resetting trap trigger.
This is a more full demo of a trap base. Note that the "UPS circuit" used here isn't necessary anymore, this video pre-dates the battery updates. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RJXn7bweR48.html
I have seen this happen also! I have never been able to reproduce it consistently, so I suspect there is some bug involved in that happening, but without being able to reproduce it consistently, I haven't been able to properly report it to devs. I did complain about it once, but complaining about something I can't reproduce doesn't really help the devs :D
I may not be understanding what you're desired outcome is. Why would you hit reset if you didn't want the door open? (to reset the trap)? Just don't reset it :D
@@RabidRabbitGamer ok, so I have the trap room opposite my front door. If someone rushes in behind me and kills me, the trap door opens shuts the front door and kills the rusher. When I reset the trap room, I don't want my front door re-opening. I hope that makes sense.
Yep, makes sense, a bit tricky solution because we still need to fire a quick on-time event on the exterior door because the act of cutting the power is was causes the door controller to close. Here is a way to fire the exterior door for one second when the trap is triggered, then it will close and stay closed until reset and laser trigger again. www.rustrician.io/?circuit=f0f6b1643b6f72dea8738403f6485baf
