I like when he’s in the videos too. I figure he’s such a good worker and body man that it’s hard for the business to stay on schedule if he’s not working on customer cars in the body shop most of the time
I love the whole Laymo concept. It was funny at first as an off-road limo, then you discovered why you don't buy used stretch limos. And now you're discovering why it was scrapped instead of fixed. But it'll be back to a novelty off-road limo soon, but not just a limo with lifted suspension.
I can hardly wait to see what the limo is gonna look like after you do all the modifications. This adventure is gonna be totally awesome! Thank you for sharing it all!😊
The tragic state of the Laymo's body is why i love this series so much. i cant wait to see everything you do to make it everything you wanted it to be!
20,000 gallons would be 160,000 pounds and I don't think the suspension or tires were that strong. 20,000 gallons is 2,643 cubic feet or a pool 4 feet deep and 29 feet in diameter. I also don't think the Laymo was that big. I suspect that , for the first time ever, Robby has exaggerated just a little bit. 😁😁😁
Yep. I have a 20x40 pool, 9' deep at its deepest point. It's 30000 gallons of water. There's zero possibility that the Lamo had 20000 gallons of water in it.
great video 📹 and Demeri hiding your transfer pump sneaky 😂it's great having your team working together and having your daughter's comedy jokes were great too . thanks for bringing us along for your video's keep making great videos 📹 👍 👏 😀 thanks
The land yacht will definitely look much better when all finished for sure!!! I definitely have faith in Robby, Hiilbilly, and the rest of the crew!!! They definitely do an amazing job when it comes to body work and paint for sure!!! I still would absolutely love to have them do my paint and body work on my 1981 Chevy K30 and my 1969 Chevy 1Ton 4x4!!! Those are two of the vehicles of mine I have been working on for several years!!!!
This will be interesting to watch take shape, 35 years ago I was once a limo driver. My main job was a steel fabricator and the first time I looked underneath of of one of these I was shocked at the build quality. It was a fun couple of years driving.
Demeri made me laugh when Robby said its been like 7 1/2 hour to drain the pool and Demeri said it only been less than a hour lol. Im glad Demeri took the pump it was fun watching Robby look for it. Yous are crazy
Having fixed a few limos at our body shop…. They both had the same rust and the sides where bad as well. Constant battle and we would keep fixing stuff every year to make them look decent. What you’re doing is the only way to actually fix it. Good on ya!
It's coming along nicely. Can't wait to see more updates an projects and many more videos soon my friends. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friends. Fab On. Weld On. Keep making. God bless.
A couple of months ago someone made the comment that your fender extensions should slide in and out. I think that was a great idea. They won’t be torn off if you ever take it off road again.
Robby, the best reciprocating blades ive ever used are the Morse brand, made in USA. We've used them for more than 20 years, and had very good results doing mechanical systems demolition.
Robby, wanted to let you know that I finally broke down and bought the Milwaukee Impact because of your channel.. It is way better than I expected... Thank you! Can you have Milwaukee send me a pallet of tools... lol
Cody is going to be his weight in gold and Layton Inc. We all know Hillbillies worth! It's priceless! I'm trying to invision your thoughts on what the Laymo will be when you're finished! I see an indestructible off-road, rock climbing, Laymo that everyone wants to see doing its thing, intertaining the public! The show must go on! Til next time, take care, and we'll see you on the next...
When Hillbilly sat under the Lincoln roof I immediately thought of another limo but chopped and lowered, really chopped and lowered. It could be called the lowmo. It would be completely impractical but like a lot of custom vehicles it's all about the work, style and show and often not about how usable it is.
A siphon is a tube that allows liquid to travel upward, above the surface of the origin reservoir, then downwards to a lower level without using a pump.
I think since they have the limo all cut apart they should put a huge sun roof in the back area also I think Robby should put a BIG BLOCK Ford in it a 460 cubic inch
You did not have 20k gallons of water in the LayMo but it is funny that you thought you did. If you had a thousand gallons in there I'd be very surprised. Love your stuff, please keep making us laugh.
it was so nice to watch in making the limousine follows here from Denmark🇩🇰🇩🇰 and watch the whole thing finished on RU-vid👍🏻😊 and we must be willing to come to Denmark in Jutland So we say to you Ready to show around👍🏻😊
Still think the laymo needs a full tube cage, and set up with off road seats... also maybe push the factory fenders out(widebody) at least half the width of blue fenders) then put some nice flares on it..(or ditch the fenders, and make it off road only, how does Matt get away with no fenders on his fleet.. can't wait to see what you come up with...
Robbie, I want to thank you for your wholesome content and acknowledge you for the skills I am fortunate enough to witness, that will point me in the right direction, so I might be able to build something as cool! ❤ If anything you inspire me to at least try. 😂
Will that pool liner work for a pond. I had four turtle hatchlings today. The lamp was a work of art. Looking forward to the end results Emery should’ve temporarily cut the cameras off
Hey Robby. Paul needs a new motor for his Wrecker. At least he won't have to work on that Ford engine. Like it does on that big cam all the time. I mean all you guys did was put plugs on that one he wiring. Made it to the wrecker games. Good luck. Down here in Springfield Missouri. They got a big place where they make limos of every kind. You might want to look him up for spare parts. So long c'est la vie . What did the cow say to the bull no-bull.🐽🐂💩🤷🏽♂️😊🙄🤚🏽👏🏽👏🏽 😊😎🙋🏽♂️👍🏽.
btw, Milwaukee is brilliant for sponsoring you. I changed over my entire set of cordless to Milwaukee bc of seeing how they perform on your channel. Ive literally spent thousands of dollars changing over.
I wish when I started changing over to battery tools that Milwaukee tools had been stocked locally to me. I knew that I wasn't in need of "the big yellow brand," so I went with another company that I had been told they would keep carrying.
You should update things Like Demri's Drift BMW, The FJ Body search, The 72 Bronco Search and Crown Vic Derby Car search and if Hillbilly ever found his Ford Engine for Broncstar maybe as a short review to let people know what you are still looking for. When you do Drift car, you need to take Son, Wife & Hillbilly to Speedvegas for drift lessons
Robby i am looking forward to seeing the videos of doing a makeover on the Laymo I am excited to see the improvements that you guys are going to make When I meet you guys in person i would love to go for a ride in the Laymo
Apparently Milwaukee isn't getting lubricious enough with grease in those rattle guns I can buy hundreds of them for 10 bucks on eBay. I put Teflon Grease in all my M18's. The only problem I've ever had with Milwaukee was for the longest time they wouldn't sell me parts. I never thought much of those M12 until I used a bandsaw of my friends the other day, I got to get me one of those! This is something I've been telling people for years get you an M18 skill saw, put a c5 carbide blade on it, 20 bucks at harbor freight. You'll still need your sawzall for things you can't get to but you'll cut straight through steel like butter
Love your channel and content. But I have to comment that seeing that green hose laying there and your still looking for the transfer pump made me chuckle. Tie a rock or something heavy to one end of the hose and toss it into the tank. Put a little suction on the other end. With the height of the Laymo, that water will pump out naturally in no time. No power pump needed. But i get it, you want to use the power tool. Anyway, keep em coming.
Any sedan limo conversion will in a short time it seems. Just driving down roads will have flexing and create places for water to get into. I had some time years ago driving a few different vehicles with V.I.P.'s. Daily maintenance, upkeep, and should be stored or parked inside a climate control building with dehumidifiers to dry out.
I have a lead on a limousine as long as the Laymo in a small car lot in a small town in Michigan I sent you a Google earth image to your email. Love the channel keep up the good work
And I thought fab rats was a hilarious way to start my Sunday morning off butt demry made sure we had a good laugh. I know I did ! Dam robby your too smart ! & those dam cameras . Lol
No need for a pump if the water level you are going to drain from is higher than where you going to drain to. Just use the Archimedic principle (not sure if this is the correct term in English). All what is needed is a piece of hose.
If you disassemble the screws from the wood, you could donate it to a charity like Habitat for Humanity. Ive deconstructed lumber pallets and donated the lumber to them.
I think instead of doing the finder flares do the friger glass finder like the Baja so that way you are street legal and it will look cool and it still allows the tires to come up and clear the finder
