The 50/50 method I'm a pro now lol after about an hour playing with it I made my own YYGGGG started out with a GHGGGH my ocd got the best of me and I did an extra changing to get it the way I wanted lol. So I just need to learn the other cross breading method. So much help 🤩

Its all preference, going up floors has its benefits. For me a 10x10 would be too large per floor. But try multiple levels and figure out what works.

Yep, pretty sure I was the first to release gene information in detail on YT. So it took a lot of practice and trial and error. Also Reddit had some helpful information.

You can’t do the 50/50 method unless you have a 6 green plant. Use the first method of counting genes to get a few plants that line up to get one with all green.

Yes that would work, or you could just place your middle seed and right before cross breeding place 8 outer seeds. Try to use sprinklers for watering two levels

You want the middle seed to reach cross breeding stage first. If you plant all at once the outer seed might get there first.

No. It needs to be a double red W or double red X. An X and W carry their own individual weight. So for example X is greater than an H and Y but a YY is greater than an X and a W. Genes carry their own weight, the color just determines if its 0.6 or 1.0.

I mention your gene thoughts in future/updated videos. As for the 50/50 method, mathematically speaking its a lot easier to find a 50/50 then a guaranteed, and with new techniques you can repeat trials 100+ times in sub 20mins.

clone itself, then clone all the clones, keep doing this till you have enough to fill a farm and have extra clones, then alternate between cloning and harvesting. Then just repeat this process. I talk about it in my latest video.

Hemp gives you cloth which you can sell at bandit camp for scrap. Once you have lots of scrap you can buy pretty much any resource you need at all the shops. Or you can grow food to feed you for the wipe.

You need 4500-6500ml water. You want 100% temp (hottest environment). Heaters don’t heat plants, you will need H genes.

no.. they only inherit from the ones its 1 spot away from.. imagine like a pawn in chess. So the middle one has 8 neighbors.. but the corner ones have only 3 neighbors. The edge ones have 5 neighbors.

You could, but statistically speaking it would always take longer. Assume you gather all the plants with a double in the slot you want. If all genes have equal odds of occurring (assuming this to be true, idk the source code but it appears roughly this way), then any two plants have a 40% chance of not having other doubles (in the 5 other slots). Where as if you have 3 plants with a triple, they have a 6.5% chance of no other doubles. Which means that when looking for your ideal plants you would have to place (on average) 15 seeds but if you try to do it the triple seed way it would be (on average) 92 seeds. Because you can repeat the 50/50 method infinite times (by cloning the plants and repeating the attempt) it will save you time and a lot of head aches. "double up" What I mean by this, is that it can't have two of the identical genes. Eg a double X is a "double up" or a double W is a "double up". As long as there are no "pairs" or "double ups" the double G or H in this case will take priority. Come join discord if you're still confused, thanks!

Y gives more yield, so more cloth per hemp plant. G makes it grow faster. For every 2 Y genes you also get another clone each time you clone it, so GGGGGG gives 2 clones, but GGGGYY gives 3 clones.

holdtime 0 will make it so that its instant when you click e. Then holdtime 0.2 puts it back to normal. I have binds to swap between this.

@@tamura77Rust wish there was a way to auto select clone over harvest as taking clones from the whole farm is a chore, if anyone knows of a way or input please let me know... also amazing guide! saved me hours :)

in terms of yield? If so that's a bug, but because 6Y is so slow to produce I would stay away from it anyway.
