back in the day we used thin paper to adjust the gear gap ans slippercliucth wind it p up all the way in the turn off 1 round at at time then a quater at a time back in the day of old gold rc10 in the 80s

Very nice man..U have a 34 spur and a 20 tooth pinion gear on a redcat lighting touring car haven't and ut let I'm still waiting on my brushless system I'm going with the velinium system it should be pretty nasty
Hi! I blew up my slipper clutch today at the first run since a new motor and esc was installed, do you think that was because I had a steel spur gear? Or is the original clutch to weak? Have order an Heavy duty slipper clutch..
that's to tight man you wanna here the slightest click when you spin it back and forth you'll feel a little click in between mesh that's what you want ,if it's to tight you'll increase motor temp and it will become.e less powerful the hotter it gets
If you don't know, don't make a video.. Wiggle the spur gear to see how much play you have. If you have no wiggle room loosen it a little until it moves a tad and is not in a bind with the pinion like yours is. Thats way too tight dude.
