Y’all are brave, I’ll give you that. Much respect. All your “let’s try this and see what happens” moments never cease to amaze me how good they actually turn out. I cringed when you added the marbling, but once again I stand corrected. That’s an amazing counter top. Well done!!!
I have to admit, I really thought that plywood was going to soak up more epoxy and not priming it first was going to be an issue. I'm so glad it worked out so beautifully, nicely done.
I'm gonna admit, I was shaking my head the whole time - but that turned out great. Glad he switched to the heat gun. A blow dryer also works good for that. I used one of those kits to do the floor in my craft space - then sprinkled the whole thing with real glitter. Love it!
That's what I call South Louisiana marble countertop!! Y'all killed it 👏! I love the colored caulking, too!! But as always, ya'll have an awesome week!!
Wow, that's impressive. That turned out awesome. I'm renovating my house and might just have to steal that idea for the guest bathroom! I like it alot. Thanks for the idea
I just love the epoxy counter and how it turned out! Looks great! Wonderful video! Can't wait to see what's next! Thanks again for sharing your journey with us!
I love how the countertop turned out! Also, thanks for showing that tintable caulk. I've not seen that before; it looks as though I would be able to use that to better match the woodwork I am refinishing in my 100+ year old house.
You did a pretty good job on the counter top! I was skeptic at first but now I am impressed. Now I am wondering how the sink will fit into your plan, can't wait!
That's a new one on me. I thought the torch would catch the vanity on fire😮. I liked the caulk match too. That's a one of a kind vanity for sure. P.S. no crawfish 😢. Gumbo time
Okay Jim nice job on that trim brother you did a very nice job and Lydia you did a very good job on the caulking girl I can't do that I hate caulking but I got to tell you one thing I love your hair girly it looks very very nice it's beautiful and y'all keep up to go work you guys are very entertaining
Great video. I really like the blue ceiling. I wished I had known about the tinted caulk, could've saved time. The vanity top looks great. I have watched a bunch of the epoxy videos, just haven't been brave enough to try it.
This turned out pretty darn cool. It takes guts to do this because there really isn’t any “Fix” if your goof it up. But then again, that’s what makes it fun!
Looks great. Y'all should watch some of the stone coat countertops videos for some ideas in other places. I could see y'all making of kinds of cool projects.
That cabinet popped. How nice it looks, and Lanly helped too! Yall are doing things u like and heck with everyone else's ideas. Yall live there we don't. Hey r yall going with that style in yalls kitchen?
I love how the epoxy covered the molding / bullnose, not sure if that was intentional or not but it looks fantastic! Are you guys happy with how it turned out? We just started a bathroom reno so we might have to steal your idea for our countertop 😀Well done!
I hope that your counter turns out great , but a trick I learned is that if you apply heat to the epoxy by a torch or heat gun it will get rid of all of the bubbles and smooth out perfect , not too much heat though , but you can tell when you see the bubbles start to go away !
Hi y'all, I was a bit skeptical about this at first.. but dang it turned out to be pretty nice looking 👌. That caulk is a genius idea. Somebody is going to do a show on how to .. and feature you guy's ❤
Hey Lydia just so you know I use sasco I use the Lexel and big stretch caulking that stuff is the best you guys would need to try those two and see what you like
That be looking awesome 👍!! I thinking adding the white to the mix, would give it style while y'all were laying down the first coat. Turned out awesome Lydia and Jim!!!! 😍👏👏 Also good job Ladly, shake shake , color is pretty color. 😊 Another awesome beautiful video 🤩.
I love the shaker Lad .Jim, Sounded like you were talking yourself into the epoxy thing . Lydia , How do you get the caulking off your fingers ? Nice marble counter top .
Hi guys it’s Michael from down under , as you know I’ve been watching you from the beginning and I’m so happy to see that you have over 200k subs. Lydia your accent has changed you now sound a lot like Jim. Love you guys keep up the good work and don’t listen to the haters 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
Now that’s alright Cajun family,,and good job a shaking ladly rue ,,hey Jim , that would be great to have a old Chevy truck to match your counter top job lol ,,the heavy Chevy lol
Hey y'all. I loved Ladly dancing and turning ... she is so cute! I really liked the exact color tintable caulk from Sashco. I have never seen anything like that and will definitely be giving it a test drive in the future. The Epoxy counter top appears to have turned out very well. I was impressed with your boldness and jumping right into attempting to replicate veins in marble. It turned out well. You two are a lot like me when it comes to doing things, I always have figured why not? Learn as you go and if it turns out good, great and if not, you probably learned how to fix it. You two have done a great job and I enjoy following your adventures very much. I'm looking forward to seeing that sink go in, more work on Jim's truck and at some point the future, the workshop build. Larry, Central Valley, Ca.
OK.. Im going with my guy Jim here. You said you were going with option two but held up option one bag!! Please tell me you caught that in editing 🤣. Either way, you went with both and it looks amazing! I see the supervisor also made an appearance to make sure you were mixing things correctly. That girl never quits!! Great video, yall! See ya soon!
Yep, Jim I would have done it that way.😊 Sorry Lydia, love ya, but Jim was right on the bags.😊 It's all good you ended up using both bags anyway. Thanks for cluing us in on the new type of caulking. Always happy to see Ladly having fun. This time helping mom.😊 The counter top turned out awesome. Look at what a little thinking outside the box can do. You got a fantastic look for a small fraction of what it would have caused to get pre- made. Each step in the bathroom so far has been full of great surprises. Looking forward to the next surprise 😊
