Got her shining like a new dime Mike, real nice job, would make the original owner proud, of course he’s beaming like a new dad over his “Baby Dumper”! Take care🇺🇸
1st to comment from Western North Carolina. 1st to 👍 thumbs up. I'm new to woodhound life. Im age 64 with a bad back. No truck. No trailer. No tractor. No splitter. Just 3 Stihl chainsaws and a old van. Wish mme luck.
Road salt. I do not take mine on the road when salt is on it. Just rebuilt and 1982 snow mobile trailer so I can haul my 4 wheeler. That does not go on salted roads. Great job Mike. Many years on your brand new dump trailer.
I’m in upstate central New York and they love road salt here also. I’ve been looking for a used dump trailer for some time but everything I looked at was a rust bucket. Most of them from firewood producers. I understand why the owners use the trailers in the winter when the roads are heavily salted, that’s also when customers want their wood delivered.
Your videos always seem to put a smile on my face. Love your humor! Hard to believe that trailer rusted that badly in 6-7 years!! You are an excellent fabricator Mike really impressive!! More body shops should invest in Kubota's and logging equipment! Thanks for the vid, enjoyed!!
Hi Mike!!😀😀 Wow that thing was a lot worse than I thought it was. Nice job bringing it back to life. Looks really nice. Take care my friend!!😀😀💚💚 Logger Al
Your trailer turned out great. Now I've got to do basically the same thing you did on mine. Mine also is only 6 years old and the floor is completely rusted out. Seeing yours has got me motivated to finish mine up.
@@Lifeinthe906I have two Mo Pitney hats...one I wear ALL the time. The other is pretty much my marrying and burying hat. Mo Pitney is a 30 year old Country Music singer/songwriter btw. Love your videos. Being from Superior, Wi I know first hand about rust. Several of my vehicles went to the junkyard ONLY because a frame broke.
I've been waiting for this video ,and FINALLY its arrived!!!!! Well worth the wait. What a great job ya'll did on this trailer. She'll be @ now for many hardworking years to come!! Thanks for sharing Mike!!!
Awesome time span on the video, it's rare, A video like this is usually cut up into multiple parts with the "join us next week as we blah blah blah". Nice work Mike. BTW, never trust anyone from Appleton... :)
@@Lifeinthe906 Andrew Camarata does the same... at times spanning years... however, it's uncommon. Appreciate ya sitting on all that content until the time was right.
I'm not a fan of the so-called powder coat on things now days. It traps moisture and rusts and flakes badly. The pin material looked like a mower front wheel post.
