I'm surprised you say uncontrolled. Going from the "next to next to next to next to" bit so how soft and controlled her tone is at the end is incredible. I loved it and thought it was really exciting. I think she's wonderful to watch and this isn't usually the style of music I got for. :)

what i love about ruth is that although she has amazing and powerful vocals, she isn't worried about being clean cut. she gets lost in her singing and you can feel the raw emotion. the notes aren't always perfect, but they're better than that, because you believe every word she sings and each words connect to you. this is a true singer, ladies and gentlemen. not a robot and not worried about being perfect. just her raw uncut self.
