This seems to be an update that makes it a completely different device. Great respect for people working on the new software. And thanks a lot for your test!
@@IffySignals I frequently use the Manticore's soft keys to rapidly switch from full tones to pitch/depth audio to try to accomplish sorta the same thing. When using headphones in dual-mode, does it output both audio types to each ear? or is it Left/Right ear divided?
Thanks Mike if it wasn't for you and Calabash all the testings you did this wouldn't of been possible Im glad the owner of Rutus lessened to you what a great machine it turn out to be Thanks again 👍👍👍
That is impressive, considering it’s about half the cost of the main competitors. Just looking at video it may just out hunt them on relics? Definitely would be a monster In the field looking for non ferrous and artillery at the same time wouldn’t you agree? Looks to me like the other 2 companies could do this for $1600….lol. I have both and honestly feel like I wasted $3000 plus dollars after seeing this video. Seems like great performance can be achieved with a lot less saved custom programs running over the site many times using different settings. What seems to be the best performer for relics on machine? Thanks Mike keep those Versa videos coming I may just rethink my detector lineup.
Now that's a winner! Good job iffy and especially Rutus for acknowledging they had an issue and fixing it so promptly and doing an amazing job. Sadly by the time I got one to Canada with shipping and import fees it would cost me double what my Legend pro pack cost me. :/
Hi Iffy😊probably you testet it some time, is this machine for you a unit that could compete with the high end detectors like Xp Deus and Manticore? Or is it a mid range unit in your uppinion?? GR.. M
Hi Iffy!!! what did you install in the handle? It would be useful for me too because the Versa's display destroys my hand.. thanks for your video as always!!
I have settled on Park Dual. 2 Tone, set the Freq level (of iron and non ferrous tone to your liking. Dual sensitivity at 10, recovery 5-6, Iron Filter at 10, BC Reject 10, Coin Boost 25.
For someone who owns a Legend, would you say that the Versa is an upgrade to the Legend? Is it more comparable to the Legend or the D2/Manticore? I don't like the fact that Deus II has a wireless coil and have to deal with another battery (that will eventually die too) and I don't like the idea of paying for a Manticore considering how expensive it is. As I mentionned in another comment, I am contemplating the idea of maybe purchasing one from europe but I have never used one and I can't tell if it's an upgrade for the Legend or if it's too similar to be worth it.
Hey Jimmy, the Versa offers all the same features and a few more cool tone features (like saving tone profiles as well as saving modes) over the others and also has Dual Mode. The Dual mode audio was the thing that got me hooked. A major downside of the versa to keep in mind is if you are in the USA and have one shipped here there is no service center, and if anything happens it has to be shipped back to poland or somewhere to a service center.
@@IffySignals I am from Québec Canada, but yeah that was also a factor that I was considering... the fact that there's no service center if there's anything wrong... There's a friend who told me there was a promotion at a shop and if you buy 4 Manticores, you get them at 1699$CAD instead of 2400$CAD. Not quite sure if I will... Sure thing, I keep my Legend but I am looking for other options in a near future.
@jimmyberubelevesque2557 all the same features and you have the dual audio. Versa for the win. Just being honest, i didn’t like it before the new update and have no reason to recommend a machine we cannot even get here in the states.
@@IffySignals Depth wise, would you say it has more potential than the Legend? I know it's not a question that can be answered with a simple answer because "it depends". But would a Legend owner benefit by buying a Versa, for instance? Would it be like buying a second Legend or more comparable to Deus II and Manticore? Thank you Mike
We shall see what others think.. for me having the Dual Mode, and the filtering to my liking to handle nails and large iron, while also maintaining a good non ferrous ID make it a great performer on tough sites.
I ordered mine thru the UK dealer, Detectniks’ EBay storefront. There are several different packages available. I purchased the one with both coils and the wireless headphones. It shipped to me in Texas in 12 days.@@IffySignals
Ciao!
Hi, have you tried Multi Low? I run Multi Low, sensitivity 20 or higher, coin boost 25, IF 10, BC 10. Its very stable. I have not even messed with single freq.
Ciao
