Around the first of August 2022, I flew Ruby, the RV-8 N998RV up to Bend Oregon to drop it off for painting at Steven and Brian Bird's Cascade Customs and Design ( www.ccdpaint.com ). The next day Steven Bird and I did a walk-around to discuss any idiosyncrasies that would need to be addressed during the process. The walk-around went great. And, I'm happy to say that as of my first inspection visit last week, September 7 2022, everything has been expertly addressed to my 100% satisfaction. I can't wait to see some paint and graphics going on!
