Not sure what that guy was talking about but we most certainly do hunt deer up here. Mule and white tail. Also elk, pronghorn and anything I can fit on my grill.

Having grown up and lived in Montana, and hunted with many ranchers and farmers and living in a farm and ranch community, we hunt deer, antelope, elk, moose, bear, big horn sheep, mountain goats, etc. Don't get me wrong, we will eat our beef and bison, but there is plenty of game that needs to be culled.
When you don’t have power at a harvest host, how long do your batteries last. We have the same model, but it makes me nervous to go overnight without power.
We’ve gone 12-15 hours with the maxxair fan running on high and moderate use of the lights, but the voltage dropped enough to make me nervous. I definitely recommend a generator to be safe if you plan on doing Harvest Hosts a lot.
